Well, sex is at the foundation of the ideology here. And in a society that likes to pretend that puberty doesn't bring on sexual awareness, that's a difficult proposition.

Personally, I'm just thankful his course of action was to resign rather than stay and legitimize his viewpoint. I wish others would do the same.

Hm...well, it wasn't fun.

I didn't even kiss a boy until after I graduated high school.

I guess watching Vivien Leigh kiss boys was enough at the time.

But I couldn't wait till 26 to lose it. I just couldn't. I had these urges. We just mature faster in the South. I think it's the heat.

Because without a gay/straight organization, people don't choose or will not choose to have sex? Hell, I take that as a compliment. Gays are hot, y'all! They make EVERYBODY horny! People don't even hit puberty until they meet a gay person. That's why Carrie didn't get her period until she was in gym class. The teacher made her do it!

Sadly this isn't just contained to the south... my school's administration folded and abolished the GSA in 2006 under criticism from parents. I'm personally a little puzzled as to why the Bible Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes are still going strong.

And I live in California, of all places!

I actually had an LA school district (not LAUSD) ask me about one of our reference books on human trafficking as to whether it went into too much depth on the sex trade.....as parents would object......like let's pretend it doesn't exist......instead of being honest in the assignment...
