Man, I hope that is not the case. That James Bond tribute needs Carly.
...and DAME, don't be ashamed...I usually refer to that song as "MEMORIES" just to save time!
BTW, I love the version of TWWW on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Album as opposed to the single version released to radio.
...but that's another thread!

The version of TWWW on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Album is the version she used in her concert that is coming out. She talks about that.
Oooh great! Can't wait to see that concert when it airs. My mother will flip....she absolutely loves Barbra Streisand...she's the one who introduced me to her music as she always blared it around the house. I accused her of turning me gay because of that! LOL!
Well, me and my brother Michael...we're both gay....LOL!

My mom also introduced her to me. Funny Girl is one of the first movies I can recall going to the movies for.
My mom and dad went to see HELLO, DOLLY! in 1969 at the Rivoli in Times Square I believe. I don't remember as I was only a year and a half but my mom had the program they gave out at the showing as evidence and played the film's soundtrack album ad nauseum [sic]...I know every single lyric to every single song in that film.
I saw Dolly at the Cinerama Dome in San Juan Puerto Rico in 1970. We must be around the same age.
Yes I believe we are more or less the same age. Wow, you saw Dolly in Puerto Rico? I had no idea they had a Cinerama Dome in PR. Are you Puerto Rican?
Raised there. Yes there was a huge Cinerama Dome in Santurce. Unfortunately this is what remeains now. A carpet store.

This is what it used to look like. Oh girl.. you sent me down some memory trip now.

Wow it was in Santurce. That's something else...I never knew that!
This is really exciting news!
I always watch the Oscars, but this is the first year I'm truly excited for the broadcast and not just curious to see who wins.
I bet Shirley Bassey does a combo of Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, and Moonraker.
I also think that Babs is going to sing TWWW live over the "in memoriam" segment, which will surely include Hamlisch.
I'm looking forward to this!!
Sounds wonderful. On a side note. DAME and Carlos ; GET A ROOM.
Damn I had forgotten Miss Bassey also sang Diamonds are Forever and Moonraker! She better do a medley then!
@ DAME: Thanks for sharing the links to the CINERAMA in San Juan! Glad someone had the good sense to photograph it before it was turned into a carpet store.

Quisiera el.
Chile....he can't handle this right here...
Is there a lot to handle?
I'm a man of color....you do the math.
But you would have to ask my conquests. All of them have this habit of calling me: "Aiy Papi!"
If I am doing math then there is NOTHING to handle. But I will let you prove me wrong. ( yeah I have no idea where I am going with that)
NOTHING to handle? You would be sadly mistaken.....
Baby I will let you prove yourself.
Mmmm hmm...I am "UP" to that challenge...
THE POWER OF SHIRLEY BASSEY!
