Oh jesus, I just watched season 2 episode 6 and it has simply the most unbelievably ridiculously hot girl in it. I've looked her up online, and even though she's a model, she's just not as sexy in still images, but the entire series is worth watching for this one girl in this one episode alone, methinks.
Why yes, yes, I have suddenly developed a brand-new girl crush, whatever gave it away?

Posted: 8/18/08 at 2:50amWow. Just the the two first episodes. Surprised at how much they showed, and found it clever that they subtitled the more "challenging" to understand dialog. Can't wait for next week's episode.

BBCA usually reairs episodes immediately before the new episode (atleast thats what they do with Torchwood and Dr. Who etc on Saturday nights. They'll play the episode of the week before followed by the new). I had to work tonight so I missed it
EDIT BEFORE POSTING
tehy're actually playing Tony right now, and Cassie right after it.
I LOVE BBCA Whenever i can sleep and i'm awake at like 5am I just sit there and watch Cash in the Attic, and they're always playing old episodes of Graham Norton, and well, Torchwood is GOD>
EDIT AGAIN
So the episode on right now, Tony, is the first episode. Next Sunday at 9pm they're playing Cassie, the second episode (which i guess they played this week along with Tony) then at 10pm they're playing Jal, the third episode.
EDIT ONE LAST TIME
Apparently Tony and Cassie are available for download on itunes now.

Season 3 will be commencing at the end of this ad break, any minute now! I'm not sure what to expect, never really caring for Effy that much, but we'll give it a go! :3

Greetings, all! My name is Donna and Iām helping BBC Video release Skins: Volume 1 on DVD! I tried contacting the mods to see if it was alright to post here, so hope it's okay :) As a big fan myself, I'm super excited to let you all know that the Skins DVD features over eight hours of content in a three-disc set containing all nine episodes of the original British first season, as well as bonus video diaries and additional storylines! (more Tony for me!) For more details, check out the BBC America Shop.
So...everyone obviously has their favorite character, but who is the character most similar to you? I'd have to say I am the most like Chris. I see what I like and go for the bait! :)

I'm gonna miss my characters from season 1 and 2...I was just watching Anwar's video diary on the dvd and it is hilarious!
I love him in this pic! Check out that expression :)
well, he's a big star now won't be the last to become successful after Skins! There is good news though! Season 3 just started and I have new characters to love! :) So far, I like J.J. and Freddie. Cook will have to grow on me though...
What does everyone else think?

Okay, thoughts on season 3 so far.
Freddie - ridiculously pretty. Had better grow a personality soon.
JJ - I wasn't so impressed at first, but a well-chosen one-liner in episode 2 caused him to grow on me.
Cook - it feels like the show are trying to be edgy with him; the website bangs on about him being both obnoxious and charming, but all I can see is obnoxious. I'd REALLY like him to DIAF.
I have fewer opinions on the girls; I didn't care for Effy and Pandora was really annoying in the first two seasons, but I think they're improving from what little I can see. As for the twins, I hate the bitchy one and quite like the lesbian one. And Naomi? No opinion yet.
It still looks, feels, and sounds like Skins, but it'll take some time for the characters to grow on me, and I don't think Cook will ever grow on anybody unless he dies. We'll keep going. But if next week's episode is as gratuitous as episode 2, I might not. I felt quite embarrassed watching it, and I like to consider myself a hippy liberal. :/

Posted: 1/30/09 at 7:37pmmaybe they'll hit him with a bus like they did Tony. He seemed to be likeable enough after almost dying.

Congrats to the Skins cast on their GLAAD award nomination for Best Comedic Series!!! Skins is competing against Desperate Housewives, Reaper, Greek and Ugly Betty. Skins will totally take it home, baby! :) We'll find out who the true winner is on April 18th.
In the meantime, I always wondered how the characters ended up after season 2. They should totally have a reunion episode of some sort! Agree? How do you think Maxxie and Anwar are doing? I'm pretty confident that my boy Maxxie will/or has made it as a dancer, as for Anwar- he seems like a London boy- I dunno how to describe it. What do you all think Maxxie and Anwar are doing in London?

Yeah, so I heard...I guess Britannia High got axed after one episode! (Yikes!) Maxxie should totally have his own show or movie...called "Maximum Maxxie" hehehe
Anyways, Chris and Maxxie's video diaries are now up online, along with Michelle and Tony's!!! :) They are both highly recommended (if you are looking for some giggle time!) Lemme know which ones are faves- Maxxie's is definitely my fave! :)

Posted: 2/5/09 at 1:31pmI watched half the first series and struggling to keep interested. I'll give it another go. I do think it is MUCH better than Spring Awakening, but then, I believe just about anything is.

Posted: 2/6/09 at 1:34pmI love season 1! I think the episodes get better and better as they go. I especially like the episode Maxxie/Anwar where they go to Russia. And what goes on between Maxxie and Tony was interesting (to say the least!) I love how this show always seems to shock me when I least expect it :) Also, the Chris and Angie relationship is addicting to watch

I wonder what I'm gonna think of season 3 (got another month or two till it airs in U.S)...the new cast has a lot to live up too especially since fans have developed their initial connections with the original cast. It's gonna be hard for me to move on! Especially without my Maxxie!
But at least I have a new season to look forward to. I know that Effy is in the third season as one of the female leads, which is good, at least there is someone fans can somewhat connect with at first. I wonder if any of the original cast members will make an appearance. I guess Tony would be the most likely to (considering he is Effy's brother). Who knows maybe he'll hook-up with the new cast members haha. Thoughts on the new cast of characters?

Posted: 5/29/09 at 2:42pmI just finished watching season 2 last night. It was excellent. I am going to miss these characters. If they do a movie I hope we get to see what happened to the season one characters that didn't move on to season 3. (All but 2!) I read somewhere that Cassie was to move on to season 3 but it doesn't look like she did. I also have to have most of the music from the 1st 2 seasons. I also read that the guy who plays Sid sings the final song in season 2. I sampled the CD on Amazon and the song is "Wild World" and that is not the last song on the DVD. The only place I can seem to find the CD is on Ebay or CD world.
