Loved last night's episode, but I agree on Katrina. Even Crane has trust issues. Either this seasons episode are not as creepy as last year, or I'm acclimating myself to gore and terror.

I love this show but it is beginning to feel too "by the book." And there does seem to be a real lack of chemistry (sorry!) between Crane and Katrina.
In advance of episode 9, "Mama" which is all about the Mills Sisters and their mother, Nicole Beharie did an interview earler this week:

Video clip from episode 9. This video choked me up a bit, and it wasn't that long! I think this is going to be an extremely emotional episode.

Wonderful episode tonight. A lot of story lines coming together now. Wonderful acting from everyone. Loved John Noble's face as he watches his mother holding the baby. About a thousand emotions in a split-second.
Mama left me emotionally drained. What a fantastic episode, loved the background on the Mills sisters, and the connection all the way back to Grace Dixon. But whoa, that kid!!!!

I would love to see the forces of good rescue the baby from Moloch - something for Crane and Katrina to bond over, and Parrish to go bananas about.

I found last night's episode kind of uneven. The first half was pretty preachy and self-conscious (although we got lots of backstory on Ichabod). But the second half picked up and made me look forward to the fall finale next week. Lots of things lifted from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - but you know the motto -always steal from the best.
Found Ichabod's back story interesting -- for some reason I thought he met Abraham in America. Looking forward to next week's episode.
Whoa boy, we are going to have one HECK of a ride with this episode.

Wow. They really pulled out all the stops on last night's Fall Finale. Interesting to see where they go from here. In particular - which way is Henry going? Supplanting Moloch as Head Demon or joining the fight against evil? My money is on the former, not the later.
Interesting Postmortem

For some reason I keep yelling at the TV when this is on. Cried over Irving, but do wonder if he's maybe -- "mostly dead."
(Have seen this commnent a lot on twitter relating to Irving's death). Wondering about Henry as well, especially since he has Irving's soul.
Meet Orion -- is he a good angel or a bad angel?

Any thoughts on Paradise Lost? Orion? What Katrina is trying to do?

This episode seemed very "talky" to me, and I don't care for Orion at all. I still find the lack of chemistry between Katrina and Crane disturbing because I am pretty sure you are supposed to want them back together as a couple, and I don't. Something about Katrina is off-putting.
Looks like the next episode will feature the return of at least one character who is sorely missed. Next episode in 2 weeks.

I, for one, have never wanted to reunite Crane and Katrina. I've always found her to be shady and Crane deserves better. I didn't trust Orion from the moment he touched down. Fallen angels are fallen for a reason! I don't hold out much hope for Headless' redemption, either. I loved Frank's appearance at the end. Do zombies need food and drink?
If you are talking about the character I think you're talking about -- did you not see the final scene in Monday's ep, set in a convenience store?
Re Katrina, many fans find her boring; others find her "useless" She has her fans though, and I think she has the answers to questions as to why Ichabod is a witness. Hopefully we'll get that info.

Yes - I was referring to the scene in the convenience store. As he was chowing down, I thought, "Isn't he kind of a zombie - the living dead? If you're dead, do you need food? Maybe he's not really dead!"
Bluemoon my comment was actually addressed to Wonkit; we must have posted around the same time. With regards to Frank, I wonder if Moloch's demise somehow brought him back to life similar to Orion being released from Purgatory.

LOL!
Oh PLEASE let him be alive! Or mostly alive!

Thanks, kec. I was trying to be spoiler free but I guess that's not going to happen. Glad Frank is back in whatever form. SLEEPY HOLLOW is beginning to remind me of HANNIBAL - no one ever really dies!
