Fox was at the TCA's yesterday; while they announced renewals for Gotham, Empire and a few other shows, they are holding off on announcing the renewal of Sleepy Hollow. This is from the TCA's: " Walden says they’re waiting on SLEEPY HOLLOW’s potential renewal. She’s hopeful it’ll come back, and there are some changes coming…things will be less serialized, and more story of the week" Walden refers to Dana Walden one of two new bosses at Fox; Gary Newman is other boss, apparently started around start of S. 2. The Yahoo article pretty much outlines what a large number of fans feel -- that executives stepped in and messed in things they shouldn't have.

Love that interview - thanks for sharing. I'm intrigued about the remaining episodes. Still hoping against hope that they get a third season.
You and me both Bluemoon. Unfortunately so many fans just cannot get past their dislike of Katrina and have stopped watching. Hopefully they will see this interview and reconsider.
Some info on the next episode, and a video clip of Crane singing Karaoke!

Including tonight, three episodes left in season 2. For those of us who love a good Crane bow, please see the video...

As usual, the next two episodes (the last of this season) look like they are bringing back some interesting possibilities. And yes, Tom Mison has a bow that makes me wish it was 1776 again!
I hear there were TWO bows in last night's episode (Haven't watched yet)

I haven't seen last night's episode yet. looking forward to watching it today. Any word on renewal? With only two episodes left this season, it's getting pretty close to the wire. I'm assuming they didn't write a finale that ties up loose, evil ends.
I'll be watching it after work tonight, courtesy of American Forces Network. No word yet on renewal. I think the Fox execs were waiting to see how the "creative changes" did with the audience. I did see that last weeks ratings went up significantly with the 7Day+DVR viewings added in. Hopefully that will continue. Re the final episode, per an interview with Tom Mison there will be no cliffhanger. If it's -- you know what ( do not want to type that "C" word) we won't be left hanging. When it's renewed it will be a "clean slate" so to speak.
Great promo for next week's episode!

It really was! I had to watch it twice to make sure I didn't miss any nuances. The time travel twist is interesting, but I hope that in jumping back they didn't also jump the shark. I'm hoping against hope that we get a third season.
There has been a hashtag campaign going on via Twitter -- #RenewSleepyHollow -- which even trended for a short time on Monday night. There is also a petition (link below). Overnight ratings were 1.4 -- much better than the season low of 1.2 for the episode with Jefferson -- which I enjoyed. What did you all think of the parallel to the pilot with Abbie in 18th century Sleepy Hollow? And the instrumental version of Sympathy for the Devil?

The scene on the road (with the carriage) made me smile. I feel uncomfortable with her stuck back there, though, and I hope she comes back to the 21st century soon.
Someone released an inaccurate synopsis of the finale in which something was said about Abbie being mistaken for a runaway slave. There was quite an uproar, and someone from Orci productions was working very hard to smooth things over. There is no getting away from the fact that Abbie in 18th Century Sleepy Hollow would be seen as a slave, but the preview I saw seems to indicate that Crane (18th Century Crane) gets her out pretty quickly.
O-M-G!! Some really shocking moments in the season finale, and a very sad ending. Sure hope there is a season 3!
Still no word on season 3, but SleepyHeads are making their desire for the show's return loud and clear; there was a trending event on Twitter last night during what had been SH's time slot, and #WeMissSleepyHollow trended both in the U.S. and Worldwide.

I saw that and I'm over the moon! I was not too hopeful when the final ratings came out. It will be interesting to see where they go with this "new start".

I must confess - any episode where Katrina dies is a good episode. Isn't that horrible? It just got to the point of no return with her. I liked coming full circle with our two heroes and now the new team leaves the past behind and faces future evil together. I love this team!
I liked Katrina, but there was just no way fans werw going to stand for her coming back even with her newly discovered powers. I LOVED that Abbie got to meet Grace, and all the parallels to the pilot in that final episode. Very much looking forward to season 3!!!!!!!!

Well, it appears that Orlando Jones will not be in the quasi-reboot of Sleepy Hollow. This is disappointing. I thought the Captain was a great character. I hope the new showrunner knows what he's doing, but I'm beginning to wonder....
