Posted: 1/17/10 at 1:54amIt wasn't as funny as I was hoping for but I laughed really hard a few times. Especially in that last skit with her googling herself.

I really like those ESPN announcers. Will and Jason seem to have hit a stride with them.

Wow, did we see the same show?
It was terrible.
I liked the bitchy kid, but most of the rest of it was p*ss poor. I get the feeling that most people here were going to like it no matter what she did, so whatever. Can't win 'em all, I guess.
Great Weekend Update, though, and the Ting Tings were very good.

Posted: 1/17/10 at 3:40pmI didn't like the show either and left the room after about 30 minutes. I did watch both Ting Ting appearances and like them.

I do have to say that Sigourney's quoting of "DAT ASS" was probably the highlight of the season so far, besides Joseph Gordon Levitt's opening number when he was on. Hilarious.
I wonder if Sigourney actually does read ONTD/IMDB?
And she must have pulled some strings with NBC for them to allow her to smoke. They're very touchy about smoking on network TV and that's the main reason the Italian talk show skit isn't on anymore because the herbal cigarettes look fake on TV. Sigourney was clearly smoking a real cig. II wonder what the deal is/was.

I thought it was a good episode. I didn't like the Amber and Cream sketch. I loooooved Laser Cats!
It said Jon Hamm is hosting next week. Is he hosting again or is it a rerun? I hope he's hosting again becuase he was great last time.

.Not me, Phyllis! I have no reason to be like that. I used to love the show and certainly worked on enough episodes to form a bond with it. I WANT to laugh!
Maybe my sense of humor has changed. Like last week's show made me almost pee in my pants from laughing at how bad Charles Barkley was!

They just did the Italian talk show sketch again when Drew Barrymore hosted. Where do you get your info Pgenre?
Jane, I like The Ting Tings, they're very hot and trendy and all that. Haven't ever bought their music, but they're fine.

It was an alright episode. I enjoyed Weekend Update immensely-Seth Meyer's take on the whole NBC late-night situation was one of the best I've seen. A few sketches got me laughing, but none were really stand outs.
I also liked the Ting Tings.

Yes, Namo, if you watch the episode you will see that the cigarettes don't work- they keep going out. If you actually watched it you might have seen that, dear
