Did my eyes deceive me? Corine referred to herself as a "revolting monster"?

"At what point do you start shoveling? Do you wait for it to accumulate significantly or do it many times?"

Ah...that IS the question. I have a fairly large driveway (it could accomodate eight cars without difficulty) and it slants downhill. I'm home alone this weekend, so I know there is a lot of shoveling in my future. I was planning on going out every couple of hours to try to keep on top of things, but have since decided to enjoy being snowed in and deal with it when the storm is over.

I have a fire burning in the fireplace and am going to watch movies to my heart's content.

Snow?

I'm sitting here under piles of white stuff in my driveway...

mmm mmm mmm

So I cook.

Roast beef
buttered noodles
tossed salad
crescent rolls
and I'm waiting for a Devil's Food cake to cool so I can add
the butter cream frosting...

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

depends...how soon you want to get out, flit. If you're in good shape, I'd say tackle it while it's light and fluffy. Easier to move. If you're not in any rush getting out on Mon. ...Enjoy a hot tottie or two.

I'm blowing the horn in about an hour for the guys to man the shovels...then we'll enjoy the eve. I'm ouuta here on Mon.

Be careful...stay warm!

I'm glad I bought that snow thrower...it's so much easier for Grandma to clear the snow while I catch up on my sleep. re: SNOW STORM- THE END OF THE WORLD

I'm trying to do it in stages. My arm feels like it's about to fall off. What I keep forgetting every year is having to shovel 5 frikin' feet of the street cause the plow doesn't come in close enough.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.
