Yesterday was our last day of shows. We had a nice little closing party last night...it was fun, but sad saying goodbye. =)
Here are some pics from the 3rd show yesterday. (Sadly, my camera went wonky about halfway through, so there aren't any pics of the Hag, etc...)
"Farewell, my dear princess!"

Thanks, spidey! It was a fun show to be a part of.
Are you planning on doing any more shows in the themepark or parting ways with Disneylandtertainment for a while?
What a lovely production. Are they planning a future transfer to WDW?

Actually, I am going to be a sub (only work when they call me, no major commitment) in the new show going in to the Fantasyland Theater. It's not at all a big stage show like Snow White was, though. It's more of an interactive show for the kids. It's called the Disney Princess Fantasy Faire, and no, I'm not a Princess. :-P I'll be playing "Lady Lillian," teaching the little girls to be proper Ladies while "Sir Elias" teaches the boys to be Lords and knights before the Princesses arrive and give us all a royal audience. (Oooooooooooooooooooooh!) I really don't know much about the show apart from that little bit of info and the fact that there's some kind of song involved. But we start rehearsals on the 12th, so I'm sure I'll find out then. :-P
I'm also going to be doing Anything Goes (opens 9/29, runs through 11/12), so that'll be fun...and it has nothing to do with Disney.

gettinhep: Thank you so much! No, sadly they aren't... The official line is that we're "on hiatus," with a possible return in the summer of '08. But lord only knows what will happen by then.
Erika: I don't know whether I should be sad or happy for you. The show closed, yes, but it seems like you have other things going for you. I really enjoyed the show when I went. As you know, I saw it twice. Did the show close for good? No more SNOW WHITE? Ever?

StageManager2: We are indeed closed for the forseeable future. (See my post to gettinhep.) And as for you not knowing whether to feel sad or happy for me... I'm really neither sad nor happy. I loved the show, but I do have some new things coming up, and change is always good, so I guess I sort of have bittersweet feelings about Snow White being gone.
Erika, just by reading your posts and with your talent and attitude, you have nothing to worry about. Best wishes in your next production, whatever that may be. Would have loved to have experienced the production "Snow White".

Now, I saw this show last year when I was there. Were you in it then?

vbplayer: Awww... Thanks so much! Really! =)
n69n: I cried when I first saw it (I joined the cast in May of '04, a few months after they opened). You know when? When she gets kissed and her hands sort of flutter before she sits up and there's this huge swell in the orchestrations... It was neat.
Wanderingchild5: Well, depending on when you come, you still might. As I mentioned earlier, I will be working in another new show off an on down there. =)
Yankeefan007: I was, but since I was in a show down in San Diego, I only worked occasionally. Maybe 4 or 5 days a month. But it's totally possible you saw me.
Thanks, Elphaba!
That looks like so much fun, Erika.

PalJoey: It really, really was. It could be a little uncomfortable sometimes (like yesterday, with the 100-degree heat), but it was always a fun gig.
Erika--
I have loved all the pictures you've posted from this show. It just looks so wonderful and like it was such quality. Disney without looking too cartoony. I'm glad it has been such a wonderful experience for you.
I have to tell you that I've thought of you several times in the past few weeks, because I'm currently working on a production of "Nine" and I've been looking at pictures of other productions just to get an idea what I might be wearing (I was cast as a German, so I was fearing lederhosen!). I have to say, your cast is one of the most stylish I've seen!
Wait a minute, is that Stephen Stanley as Sleepy?
is that my darling Jennifer as Snow White?

I have to comment on that set. It is absolutely beautiful. I love Disney but I haven't watched Snow White in so long! Also, good luck in your upcoming shows.

Thank you so much, ikmbway! And I have to agree...the sets were gorgeous. My mom took this shot with her little dinky camera back in '04...it kind of looks like a drawing, doesn't it? (And yes, I'm Her Sassy Hagness in the photo.)

That Prince Charming is a cutie!
I concur, Wildcard. Erika, is that the same guy I met? Your friend, I mean. If it is, he is even more striking up close, Wildcard.
However, Snow White's prince is NOT Prince Charming. He is simply The Prince. Cinderella's prince, on the other hand, IS Charming. (I read that somewhere.)
