Posted: 9/26/04 at 10:25pmSoda for me. But when I lived in the midwest is was pop. I live not far from Boston and it is tonic there. Do the die hard New Yorkers from way back when remember Egg Creams? Seltzer, Fox's UBet Chocolate Syrup and milk.

Hon, I was drinking POP in 1960. FIRST!

POP!
I'm from the north where people educate their children.
I always thought people from New York said "coke"
Waitress: "what would you like to drink?"
Customer: "coke"
Waitress: "what kind?"
Customer: "Sprite."
