YAY Addy! Smart gal!
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

Addy, my Aunt is visiting my parents up north of Seattle. My mother and her were raised in Pittsburgh.
My parents are major Seahawk fans, and by Aunt is the #1 Steeler fan on the planet.....I would give ANYTHING to be at that house today cause it's gonna be ugly.
The only thing my Aunt is more obnoxious about are the Yankees.
(patronus, you've let me down.....sigh)

brd, Steve (who hates pro football) has to work at 3PM, so I'm going to get comfortable, and watch at home....with my cellphone ready to call my Aunt everytime the Seahawks score!

Sorry, Elphaba. Honestly, I don't have that much passion one way o r the other about it.
My reason for rooting for the Steelers (even though we aren't supposed to) are as follows:
1. I always like to root for the old guy in the twilight of his career. (Bettis)
2. My boss is a Steelers fan. If they win, my day at work tomorrow will be a lot smoother because she is incapable of seperate personal and private issues.
See, at least I have reasons.

I'm gonna do the same thing with my mom Elphaba. She lives in portland and has season tickets so i'll be calling every time.
when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

hmmm, just when I thought it was safe to go back in the water.....Liam
Patronus, reason #2 makes a LOT of sense!
zone, she drives from Portland to Seattle for every home game? Yikes....that's almost a 3hr trip EACH way......

For DD, GO SEAHAWKS!!
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."
