Oh, no. Everyone knows the Packers are coming back next year.

"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."

Oh, shush. They've been doing poorly lately, but they have a history of being a good team. They just need a better coach.

Their Coach is the least of their worries.
The Packers are a rebuilding team. They need 3-5 years I think.
Especially if Farve retires.

Turnovers kills you. Penalties always hurt. Two good teams play and only one can win. Seattle mismanaged the clock time and time again. The Steelers had weapons and brought them. Pittsburgh overcame many bad calls playing three TOUGH teams away to reach the Super Bowl. Bitching about what you think are bad calls is always nothing but sour grapes. Perceived bad calls happen on both sides of the bench. It's what a team does with them that makes them a champ.
Yes, Steelers have a hugh fan contingency throughout the country, nay throughout the world. It's referred to as a Steeler Nation. They travel far and wide to follow the Black & Gold. They are a city three generations strong of hard core sell out fans.
I would be happy to see both teams play again next year. I think it's exciting just to be invited to the dance.

It was truly an exciting game. I thought the Seahawks did a very good job during the first half, but the Steelers were in control during the second half. Oh well... you win some, you lose some. Hopefully next year...

Bah! I'm a proud Steelers fan! (Considering I'm in Pittsburgh, I'd better be)
The post-game riots in this city were the best part, though. Overturned cars? Flaming couches? An uprooted parking meter? Crazy, but fun, although I felt extremely bad for the people whose cars were overturned. Completely wrecked...

I'm just happy that I won enough money for a bus ticket home from school ($50).
My bet was actually a very smart one: At halftime the Steelers would be in the lead, and the ones digit of the sum of the two scores would be a zero.

yes riots are so much fun, overturning cars, throwing couches in a drunken rage is always pleasant......and so worthy of role model behavior for the kids........

Looking objectively, I think the Seahawks beat the Steelers 6 times out of 10, but last night was definitely one of the Steeler's nights. They fought hard, got the breaks and the calls, and the Seahawks froze a bit under pressure - dropped passes and missed (though long) field goals.
When the Seahawk's offense was working, it was great - but it stalled too often when close to the goal line.
Still - some of those calls against the Seahawks were just horrible.

GO STEELERS! I was at the game and it was sooo amazing. Extremely electrifying! Rolling Stones were great, National Anthem sub-par, Stevie Wonder great as well.

Did anyone else find it amusing that the song they were playing while they were introducing the Seahawks was "Bittersweet Symphony"? An omen??
