Seahawks -
Even with their kind of sissified uniforms.

Not looking good for Seattle.
OHH - Interception. I spoke too soon. They still have life!

I'd just like to let everyone know that I am sticking by my claim that seattle will win my 10, but i will withdraw my claim that alexander will score 3 TDs
ETA Seattle keeps getting Dicked on falls.

OK - I am not much of a conspiracy theorist - but . . .
It seems as though the cards are stacked against Seattle.
They have a ball one 1 called back for a phantom holding call.
They have a tackle by the quarterback on an interception called as a 15 yard penalty when it was legal.
Then Randall El has that pass (which was just a good play).
If I was a true blue Seattle Fan, I would be screaming.

Not to mention the phantom Pass Interference on the initial seattle touchdown.

this is simply disgusting!
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

There was some sort of push-off on the the intial touchdown, but not much.
And, there was the Phantom touchdown by Pitt.
But, the end of the half and the end of the game were poorly played by Seattle, and they missed two field goals.
But, something did not smell right in this game.
And, I was not even really rooting that hard for Seattle. It just seems that they got a lot of calls that did not go their way.

Who is going to be the MVP?
No one on Pitt really played that amazing well.
Randell El?
Not Big Ben?
The Refs?

Yeah! Steelers won! Ha, someone at school owes me a pack of mints. And a pack of gum.
I'm not a gay stereotype. I'm a coincidence.

"The Refs?"
they were certainly Pittsburgh's MVPs

Kind of agree with you there Zone.
Hines Ward wins the MVP = he had one or two plays.
The refs had more.
I am happy for Jerome Bettis. It is a nice way to go out. I just wish that they had won in a way that was more dominating.

BOOOO!!!!!
The cars really were stacked against the Seahawks...
And the fact that 90% of the fans there were Pittsburgh fans...

I watched. They had a few lucky moments, but they also played better. And about the fact that most of the fans were from Pittsburgh; they won three away games in a row to get to the Super Bowl. They had a tough road there and deserved/worked hard for their spot and win.

There are at least 14 points in dispute - Pitt won by 11.
And, the Steelers have a great story. I just wish that they had dominated the game, or that so many close calls had not gone in their favor.
Seahawks also did not convert on their opportunities. So, even with a few questionable calls, they really did not deserve to win.
If you were a Seahawk fan, you would be doubting the objectivity of the refs, whether fair or not.
But, when you and a Seahawk touchdown called back, a Pitt touchdown when he never passed the goal, and 1 and goal at the one for the Seahhawks overturned on a phantom holding call, and the Seahawk called for a low block when he was tackling someone, don't be surprised when folks think something else was going on in the refs mind.
Steelers won. I just wish they had done so a little more convincingly.

lucky? Pittsburgh got more than lucky. they were gifted multiple things. The disallowed Seattle Touchdown on the phantom PI penalty. The Reception ont he 1 yrd line that was called back on the phantom holding penalty. The 15 yards after the interception after the called back play on the phantom holding penalty on a phantom illegal blocking penalty against Hasselback for a legal tackle. The Phantom touchdown by rothlisbergerergerfer that never crossed the plane.
I'd say thats a little more than "a few lucky moments"
