A friend of mine is a student and a part-time EMT. He is an undergrad theatre major and 24 years old. He delayed going to college in order to save enough money in order to afford it. He's an RA, very talented, and one of the hardest-working people I know. And, he doesn't have insurance.
He's very very ill right now. The flu is going around which has sent several of our theatre majors to Urgent Care, including me. He has tried a lot of different kinds of over-the-counter medicines but he has been ill for a week and hasn't gotten much better.
Universal health care, please.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
