Sam Smith has confirmed he has written and recorded the theme song for the new 007 film "Spectre". Song will be released on Sept 25th. He told BBC radio 1 that it is a classic "Bond" song. I think we will decide that!!!

^He also told BBC only last week that he was "definitely not" involved in the project, so the boy's a liar. I guess I understand the desire for secrecy around the whole affair, but why tell outright untruths?
The song's called "Writing's On The Wall", by the way.

I agree on both counts, he could have just strung the rumours along rather than a flat denial. And, yes there is only one DSB, I was just thinking of a "hook" for the thread.

Didn't Sam Smith go the way of Adele? He was relevant for a hot second and then disappeared. This news would've been exciting…if it was 2014.

This is how it works, Vintage, especially with female solo artists. They go away for a few years and then return with another critically acclaimed commercial success and it's deemed a "comeback".
