Did anyone see her on the show on Friday? She squabbled with both Starr and Elisabeth. It was fun. There's a clip of the part with Elisabeth at the link.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Go Sandra! I hate that Elizabeth biatch.

Wrong, sir. Wrong! Under section 37B of the contract signed by him, it states quite clearly that all offers shall become null and void if - and you can read it for yourself in this photostatic copy - "I, the undersigned, shall forfeit all rights, privileges, and licenses herein and herein contained," et cetera, et cetera..."Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum," et cetera, et cetera..."Memo bis punitor delicatum"! It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal! You stole fizzy lifting drinks. You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized, so you get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!

That clip is more fun and exciting than her whole new show at the Roth. Is there more of this appearance on line? If so please provide.

If you put Sandra's name into youtube you can find the whole 7 1/2 minute interview.

the only people i like on the show are joy and meredith. I hope Rosie does change the mood on the view. I will admit that i love seeing star jones get into a catfight, if i was on the show id start one for no reason.

Yes, I know my profile name is spelled incorrectly. That's what happens when you don't spell check and just push done. I wear it as a reminder to spell check.

OMG, that was great! Thank you, Mr. Midwest. You've got to check out the entire thing on youtube! I love Sandra. Also, when you do the search for her on the site, you can view that classic Letterman interview from '88 with Sandra and Madonna.

The worst thing that ever happened to The View was the loss of Lisa Ling and replacing her with that reality show famewhore twit. I can't stomach Elizabeth. I hope the sparks fly with Rosie!

When I was in NY a couple weeks ago, I went to a taping of the View. Elizabeth is the only one that leaves the set during comercial breaks. The other women - including Barbara Walters the day I was there - come out into the audience and talk to you, sign autographs - take pictures etc. Elizabeth walks off and re-appears just as the camera starts to roll. Of course - no one in the audience actually asked for her or seemed to notice she was off set.

did it sound like joy said "you've got to go" to elizabeth, maybe i'm hearing things, but it sounded like it.

this clip reminded me of BEST WEEK EVER, when Meredith was having the BEST WEEK EVER because she left the View, which one of the comedians said could be called something like "women who talk over each other, so you can't hear what they're saying"

the weird thing is if you watch the entire clip, sandra is calling all of the women "honey" including elizabeth, it's only at the very end when elizabeth takes offense to it.

I love that Star is going on and on about that "great skirt" when Sandra comes out. It's horrid and should not have a button up shirt tucked in to it.

The interview was horrible. Do they know who Sandra is? Why bring up politics and her views on politicians wives if they are all gonna go apes**t? Elizabeth is in the 2% that still likes Bush. I understand wanting a diverse panel, but they need to bring back the days when only one or two people did the interviews. Star looked completely bored the entire time. I don't watch The View anymore, but it was one of the most unprofessional interviews I have ever seen.

is that an adbication of the sovereignty of the american people?

also, is that number based on a poll or just your opinion?

Totally my opinion. I realize that the American approval rating is somewhere around 37% since the death of Zarqawi, which I feel was completely done for that purpose. (Yes, he was a horrible man, but why didn't we go after him years ago?) I can't imagine anyone approving of the war and what Bush is doing. (Again, just my opinion.) So, I choose to believe that those still approving of Bush are holding on to the idea of Bush and not really agreeing with the cluster we are currently involved in. Perhaps a silly idea on my part, but it helps me sleep better at night.

I think it's ridiculous and wimpy to bring on a provocateur like Sandra and then cut discussions off when they get meaty. How are they going to handle Rosie??

They should have respected their guest more. And I notice that Elisabeth is outnumbered and outwitted, but she was being very rude to Sandra. Thank God for the Sandras of the world who aren't afraid to voice their opinions.

I'm thrilled that I am seeing her show again this Sunday, which is also Gay Pride Day. Honey, read the children to FILTH!

I agree. That was the most unprofessional interview I have ever seen. Star is just rude and unpleasant, and Elizabeth is too preachy. Thank goodness for Joy. I would have to stop watching The View if she left. I can't wait until Rosie's debut. There will be sparks flying.

Pillowpants. 'Nuff said.
