Snafu...will fondly remember stopping by the shop on Tuesday nights with a 1/2 lb (that got bumped to 3/4 lb and sometimes more) of premium deli roast beef to hand out to the 4 furry children. Hilarious to watch them impatiently wait their turn as I passed out the morsels until all the meat was gone.

What a beautiful dog your Codger was (both before and after). I am so very sorry for your loss, SNAFU. My heart breaks for you. You did a truly noble and selfless thing in caring for and loving Codger (but I'm sure that you think you got more from him than you gave, which makes you a special, special soul). And if the pain you feel now is the price for having loved, I know you wouldn't take back one moment of the love. You are both in my heart. Wishing you peace and love.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

I'm thinking of you today, SNAFU, not only of your grief and sadness, but of the the love and life you were able to give Codger from the time you found him until the time you had to let him go. Like you and many others on the board, I know firsthand what it means to have to say good-bye to a beloved pet and wish you has much peace as possible in this difficult time and the days ahead.

Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. It is never easy saying good bye. There are always the nagging questions of is it really the time? I could tell looking into his eyes this morning that it was, he was ready to go. Having the vet come to the apartment was actually a very nice way to take care of a painful task. He left feeling loved and in a home he really cherished.

SNAFU: Codger is beautiful and so are you! Thank you for saving him. I'm certain many people saw that little guy on the street or at the animal shelter and just passed him by. You gave Codger 1 1/2 years in a good home with someone who loved and cared for him. I am very sorry for your loss!
