I had a giant crush on Travolta when he was in Grease.
I loved his work in that film. I guess I just don't see him as Edna.

Kathy Brier wasnt in the original cast...and all of those girls are too old for the screen.
Travolta was a sex symbol until he shaved his chest for Staying Alive...his career took a nosedive...he came back thanks to Tarentino, in a much overpraised performance...best actor my fanny.
I find him a charming actor, not a great one...he is Julia Roberts. I will wait to see if he makes a good Edna or not.

I imagine this may be why Johnny and Tommy signed on the scientology dotted line.

they tried to make John Travolta and Lily Tomlin a couple in a movie??? They might as well put RuPaul and k.d.lang in the roles.
