I just heard about Addy and Matt... and though I wasn't really 'friends' with either, Matt's snark made him of the people who made the Wicked threads worth reading and Addy was always very kind to me. I'm sorry for whatever happened... If you two see this, know that you are missed.

I agree, Nia. I didn't really know them, but they were always kind to me when we did talk. Take as much time off as you need, but we all miss you and will welcome you upon your return.

Iris, sit by me and I'll fill you in with what I observed and surmised concerning at least one MIA. See, as was already been brought up, Matt started yet *another* thread about his inability to garner special treatment at a box office. And, as in the past, this thread elicited the same type of responses. So predictable.
So Matt's newest best friend Princeton, who had lately been looking strikingly similar to Matt, took up his buddy's cause. Unfortunately both of their attempted arguments lack logical reasoning and economic soundness and stemmed from nothing more than what appeared to be, and as stated by Princeton, a sense of entitlement. Matt then fled to the Smoking Thread and requested some backup. Course he stated it was something he would not normally do. (My experience has been that his pleas for reinforcement were usually made in the Chat Room or via PMs.) So poof, like magic, others appear to counter the mean nasty posters in Matt's entitlement thread. Well, really some don't think they were mean and nasty, just in disagreement with Matt. But around here, sometimes that's all it takes.
And at this point I would love to interject how I marvel at some of the instantaneous friendships and relations that seemed to flourish after such a short and superficial incubation period. Do people really think they know half the people they talk to on this board? Even after meeting them? Some of us have observed and been party to the wrath of a few disturbed minds for far longer than most have been on this board. Only wish many of the most insightful threads into a trouble mind were still available for viewing. But the multitude of obscenities in them saw to it that they were quickly deleted. Now, back to the story.
So chatter resumes in the Smoking Thread and someone is just so put upon that he, Princeton didn't think he could carry on any longer on this board. Baa bye...don't let the door and all that.
Then a battle cry was uttered to call out the sock puppets. Puppets, as in plural. As in an entity or entities that have been used in the past. Makes me go, "Hummmm." Now I would think this would be where half the imaginary BRKLYN foes of Matt would make their entrance, but alas not this time. Creative writing can be very invoking of emotion...to some.
Then from what could be determined someone took up the moniker as NYAddie and every post seemed to mention pink champagne . Nothing vile or ugly, just stupid. Again I said, "Hummm, wonder who from that gang it could be." See, my reaction was to think it was someone who has since gone missing.
In the mean time back with Matt in this entitlement thread he made some very bizarre comment about how some on this board have money to burn. He then repeated the comment that some would be surprised how some here have money to burn. Now I may be totally out off my gourd, and admit that this is entirely supposition on my part, but I would have to think if I were a person who was thought to have money to burn, and had shown nothing but kindness and generosity to another, well, I think I'd feel more than a little singed by that inflammatory comment. But that's just me.
Now I'm certain I probably brought up more questions than answers. There are no all good and all bad posters. People don't dress in all white or all black, but isn't this just like a Broadway musical?

I'm sad for Addy, I must say. She'll be back though. I will say that I am not bothered in the least about Matt's departure.
