I'm looking for a new internet browser. I've been using Internet Explorer for many years, and I want something more savvy now.

I want a browser that blocks ads on websites (not just pop-ups), and is fast, and simple to navigate.

I don't like having an animated ANYTHING bouncing across the page or flashing about as I'm trying to read an article.

Thanks for any advice.

I'm all about the Firefox.

IE is crap.

Firefox with the AdBlock Plus add on. I haven't seen an ad or pop-up in years.

I don't think anyone has suggested it, but Firefox. re: Seeking A New Browser

I'm going to hop on the bandwagon here, and say Firefox.

I don't know what it is. I use IE. I just wanted to say it.

Yeah, what they all said. Firefox is a dream compared to IE.

Firefox plus the "Fast Video Download" add-on so you can collect YouTubes.

I just switched from IE to Firefox, and I won't be going back.

Like the others', FIREFOX changed my life.
You may have to use some "add-ons", but it's worth it.
Your PC will be eons faster, with much better security, built in.
Use "Deskcut" (to add shortcuts to your desktop).

Use "Add Block Plus".
Check out the different "skins"
Study the "HELP" button, because the "customize tool bars" is SOooooo easy...drag and drop.
It takes about a week to get used to, but you'll never go back..
Good LUck!

Funny this topic came up. My IE just kind of died, and the geeks switched me to Firefox.

I love the colorful tabs add on. I can make my Firefox look like a rainbow and that puts a smile on my face.
