Well this isn't YouTube...and based upon the comments posted in the introduction they have decided to release and share this footage to the public. It's very hard to watch so please be warned.
Per Towleroad:
"A New York couple yesterday released graphic footage they shot from the 36th floor of their apartment building, 500 yards from the World Trade Center's north tower. I was floored by this, particularly because it's not the analysis of newspeople that many of us heard, but a family watching the horrific drama unfold before their very eyes. Incredibly powerful."

Posted: 9/12/06 at 1:23pmSweetQ, there's an option on there to download it. It took me a while before I got it. Just hearing their reactions was amazing. The person who was filming it mentioned terrorist attack from the get go. After watching from their particular vantage point, I could not believe how many people were observing from so close (on the street).

Posted: 9/12/06 at 1:50pmDottie... I noticed that too... one of her first comments was that she thought it was a terrorist attack. Very powerful...

Posted: 9/12/06 at 4:02pmWow, just wow. Sadly we see this footage all too often that we become almost numb to it. Seeing it through "fresh" eyes makes it so unreal and powerful. Her reactions brought me to tears.

OMG. I'd like to comment on the actual video but I just can't.
I just have to say, she really taped that very well. For being so close and seeing it happen right there in front of her, that camera was very still.
It really was odd that the first thing she said was terrorist attack.
The e-mail address was at the end of the video and I'd like to e-mail them but I wouldn't even know what to say...
WoW. Just WoW.

Posted: 9/12/06 at 6:13pmSeeing all those rescue vehicles prior to the collapse so close to the base of the towers is heart breaking. It was like watching a movie that you have already seen before and know the outcome, yet you still can't help but hope for a different ending.

Posted: 9/12/06 at 6:17pmJesus Christ. 9/11 obviously never really hit home with me until now. God help you all that were there (or if not 'God' then whoever you want to help you).
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Then their decision to release their video on the anniversary is validated. I imagine there are more who will experience it really for the first time - and it is certainly bone-chilling for those who will never forget.

That video was so crazy!
I would have been so scared to be in that apartment. It looked so scarey after both the towers fell b/c the smoke was coming right for their apartment and you couldn't see anything!

Posted: 9/13/06 at 12:02amI couldn't watch this yesterday. I could barely sit through it tonight. That smoke filled the entire city, and I will never forget that unholy smell: burning metal, chemicals and human flesh, the refugees streaming uptown covered in that powder, the overpriced deli on the corner handing out free bottles of water to them, most of them too in shock to even say thank you, all they wanted was to get home

Posted: 9/13/06 at 12:41amthe most amazing part is the courage that she had to stand there and film it. I dont know if I could have even done that. I would have taken the baby (I assume it was her baby) and ran the second I knew something was wrong.

Deeply shocking, tragic and utterly evil.
Unbelievable to think someone (people) could have done this.
I have been researching the demolition of the World Trade Center since early February - it has occupied my every waking thought - but this is the most horrific footage yet.
Peace to you all. Just please know that I share in your grief and mourning, and that I will not sleep well until those who did this are brought to justice - whoever and wherever they are.

Posted: 9/13/06 at 7:47am9/11 affected me from the moment it happened, but this is a completely different view on the attacks. It is heart breaking and horrifying. God bless everyone who was anywhere near the towers that day and everyone who has lost someone. My heart goes out to all of you.
