Shock Treatment

So obviously it's not as good as Rocky Horror, but I still love it.

I just re-watched it and had forgotten how fun it is. Barry Humphries is so creepy he nearly steals the show.

And Jessica Harper is simultaneously vacant and seductive, which I have no idea how she pulled off.

Patrica Quinn is so good it made me sad that she never became a bigger success.

I can't stop singing Little Black Dress.

Anyone else a fan?

I love the music so much that I always want the rest of it to be better.

Shock Treatment

I dunno. I would have to see this again. I could never get into it...not even the music.

Shock Treatment

So true.

The more I see it though, the less the flaws are discernible.

And really, every song is great. Not a loser in the bunch.

Not a sequel, not a prequel, but an equal! I should finally watch this. I love Pat Quinn. And wow - Little Black Dress sounds a lot like The Time Warp verses.

Jessica Harper always reminded me of Winona Ryder in this for some reason.

I remember sitting down for the first time really expecting to hate it, but falling in love immediately.

The amount of times I'll just be randomly in the kitchen, say a utensil or machine, and subsequently start singing Bitchin' in the Kitchen...

I always rather enjoyed this one, too. Any chance to see/hear the great Jessica Harper. My one real complaint is poor old Cliff DeYoung, who's just got nothing going on at all -- was he really the best they could find?

Still, I always laugh when Patricia Quinn says "This is Janet! She's a PHENOMENON!"

I agree with Phyllis. I think the music is better than Rocky Horror. But the rest of the movie doesn't live up to it. Still fun to watch. It's never been released on Blu Ray has it?

No blu-ray...yet.
