There seems to be a lot of twists turns and surprises. I think Nate will get better and wind up with Maggie. Maybe I am wrong. I think Billy will come back and kill Claire. He is nuts enough. Nothing is ever what it seems on that show. I will miss the show when it ends.

Ok..is it wrong for me to hope that Nate is dead? I never liked Nate and Brenda, but I do feel bad for her now. I think they'd all be better off with him gone.

And what's up with Russell? He's completely gone off the deep end?????

And that little foster kid is way too cute......

But Rico talking to the dead woman was a bit too freaky.

They used to talk the the corpses a lot more. I miss it.

I hope Nate isn't dead. Ehy the hell did he refuse couples counseling? (When did that happen? Did I miss that?)

I love that Keith is becoming a good father. I love Keith. Period.

How many episodes are left? There aren't many, are there?? I was so pissed that they didn't have an "On the next Six Feet Under" clip after the credits rolled! How am I supposed to wait until Sunday to find out what happens next?! ARG! Even though she's been driving me kind of nuts lately, I felt bad for Brenda. And I agree that something funky might be in store for Claire. She seems a bit too, I don't know...content with ther current situation.

I think Nate's dead. It would make sense with all the references to him turning 40 and going through this change...the Quaker thing, not wanting another baby, Maggie...

I think they didn't have previews just for that reason..bye bye, Nate.

Rachel Griffiths (Brenda) has said in an interview (with entertainment weekly, i think) that episode 9 has 'a major characters funeral' i say Nate's dead and spends the rest of the season as a ghost, visiting his family. also, according to E! online, the series finale will go into the future to show how the Fisher family dies.

Foreshadowing when Nate's high school buddy died and his first love died...and the funeral business is getting to him...

newgirl, Nate killing the bird in one of the earlier episodes also foreshadows his death....i predicted this whole storyline. i knew it was gonna happen.

The question is, how many more are going to kick the bucket (before the last episode where they show how everyone dies). We've got rumblings about Claire and Billy (and how frigged up was what's his face?!? Russell!) And Ruth running off w/ Hiram in the woods. Ooooh, the possibilities are endless. And one of the kiddies could snap on Keith and David (though that seems kind of doubtful...but their little happy moment at the dinner table seemed a little too happy. Seriously, a trip to the beach and a promise of going skiing hardly seems enough to miraculously turn that kid around).

Shall be interesting!

Bumping this up, because I forgot about this earlier...I liked the episode as a whole, but how bad was Krause's spasm at the end?!? I generally enjoy Krause, but his robotic "Arm. Arm-Numb. Arm-Numb." Had my friend and I laughing hysterically...not exactly the reponse I think they were going for! He sounded like he was short circuiting or something! That's all.

Phew. Thank goodness for OnDemand. Finally saw in during lunch today.

I think Nate is totally dead. I just can't stand him. He's so freakin'... I don't know if passive/agressive is the right term. It seems he stays with Brenda because it's the 'right' thing... same thing he did with Lily.

And I must say I like Vanessa. She really is hurt by it all. Her and Rico weren't really communicating. And it's nice that they made it seem that they're finally going to figure out what their relationship is going to evolve into. Not necessarily together as a couple.
