Will there ever be a reunion movie of the characters (who lived) from Thirtysomething?

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I didn't read the whole thread but happy birthday, Goth! 60 is quite a milestone!

You're about 30 Something years past that birthday wish, Phyl.

I couldn't bear listening to all the "Sixtysomething is the new 40" and such.

I'd be way more interested in "James at 55."

I would watch a thirtysomething reunion in a heartbeat. Where would they be? Would Elliot and Nancy have stuck it out? Does Melissa find happiness? What ever happened to Miles Drentell?

Plus, Ken Olin is one of my hot older man crushes.

I actually tried to watch some episodes about six months ago. I hadn't seen the show since it aired. I wasn't a huge fan, but I followed it when it was on and enjoyed it.

Nostalgia led me to rent it.

And BOY, was it awful. I made it about ten minutes into two episodes, and that was that.

What passed for mildly "smart" dialogue between trendy up-and-comers trying to make their way in the world was either completely assholish or dumb drivel. It wasn't witty or enjoyable even on a "oh, look at the '80s" kind of way.

It just sucked.

So I can't say I would get excited about a reunion.

Anybody else tried to watch it in the last few decades? It was a reality check for me.

I found it unwatchable back when it was a hit. And while she won plenty of awards for her work on the show, I thought it was a complete waste of the otherwise underappreciated Patricia Wettig.

You know what holds up really well though?

At least Season One ...
