My sister is the worst sleep walker/talker ever and she just walked into my room and we had an interesting little scene. It's the creepiest thing ever.
Someone out there has to agree with me on this one.

Posted: 8/24/07 at 2:11amDespite its many flaws, I actually enjoyed the former. Campy horror fun. Certainly not Stephen King's "scariest" by a longshot. Incidentally, I love Santo & Johnny's "Sleepwalk" used ad nauseam in the movie.

Posted: 8/24/07 at 8:35amMy sister does it as well...it's so weird. She'll wake me up in the middle of the night to tell me about stuff that makes no sense, then randomly goes back to sleep, while I'm up the rest of the night.

Posted: 8/24/07 at 8:59amI only slept walk once that I know of and, according to my sister, I ended up walking into my sisters room at like 2 in the morning, standing at the foot of her bed and just staring at her for 15 minutes. She kept yelling at me to leave and started throwing stuff at me, but it didn't make a difference. When I woke up the next morning all the stuff in my room was messed up... it was really weird. My sister actually locked her bedroom doors for the next week haha.

Posted: 8/24/07 at 10:11pmMy grandmother told me that the best way to make a snorer (is that a word?) stop snoring is to clap something like shoes over their face or whistle in their ear.

I read that playing the didgeridoo helps decrease snoring.

Posted: 8/24/07 at 10:50pmMy roommate in college used to have weird conversations in her sleep and would do this awful hyena laugh thing. It would scare me to death! Especially since she slept on the bottom bunk and I would wake from a dead sleep hearing that evil laugh from below me. *shudders*

Posted: 8/24/07 at 11:34pmI sleptwalked when I was little. I haven't done it for a while though. I do talk in my sleep though. It's usually just a few sentences and then I'll go back to sleep, so I've been told.

I do both...well I did.
I was in a sleep walking phase from about 7-12. I still sleep talk though. When I went to Summer Camp the kids would record me and play it for me. :/

my brother talks in his sleep. and our beds are only seperated by a thin wall so i hear it all.
although once when we were staying with family on the cape and we were sharing a room, he told me i had talked to him in my sleep.
my dad used to snore but he stopped after he went to the sleep lab and they gave him a cpap machine.

Urgh it's all so bad. My sister walks around, yells at people in her sleep (mainly me...), carries on whole conversations with (I'm assuming a man named) Billy Bob Joey Face. Ridiculous.
Aren't there doctors for this? She's just so scary. Poor sister.

My sister popped up next to me (we have loft beds) and said "DGG! DGG! I'm going downstairs to get the balloons."
Me: "What?"
Her: "You know, balloons?"
And that was that. I didn't sleep for the rest of the night.

Oh Lord. My sister literally JUST walked in and yelled at me! She yelled at me! I told her to go back to sleep and she was like "I'm not sleep walking! I just want to hang out!" And she swears and swears and swears! But she never swears when she's awake.
So. Weird.

I've never seen a sleepwalker, nor had the joys of being near a sleeptalker.
But snorers...oh, I know some awful snorers!

My sister, at 2 in the morning, once tried to convince me that I had tied with Napoleon Dynamite for Best Movie at the MTV Movie Awards several years ago.
Not Best Actor, or even Best Actress. Best MOVIE!!!

In a class discussion concerning Lady Macbeth's sleepwalking, one of my female students related a memory of her past when she and her family had just moved to New York from the Jamaican Islands. The girl was about 5 at the time and missed her friends in Jamaica. One night she was sleep walking and let herself out of the house because she was trying to "go home". Her parents found her several blocks away in her pajamas. They then put latches on the top of the doors to prevent further incidents.
