Anyone remember this little gem of a show?
Do I dare admit actually auditioning for this show?
No way! Who did you audition for? Vicki or Harriet? Wow, I can't believe someone remembered the show.
I do! I do! Except I watched the Spanish dubbed version. I don't really remember any episodes, since I was just a little kid. Isn't the robot girl now some politician of some sort?
For Vicky. Funny enough, I vividly remember the girl who ended up playing Harriet being there too.

I have no words for that, Popular. None.
la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la!
She's a small wonder, lovely and bright with soft curls
She's a small wonder, a child unlike other girls.
She's a miracle and I grant you
She'll enchant you at her sight.
She's a small wonder, and she'll make your heart beat twice
She's fantastic, made of plastic, microchips here and there
She's a small wonder, brings love and laughter everywhere!
you can actually find some episodes on that one website we can not name.
"tube of you"
Why can't you say youtube? I'm going be rebellious and say youtube youtube youtube youtube youtube youtube youtube youtube!
*hopes membership is not terminated as a result*
hahaha ^^
I have been watched about 3 eps so far. I love all the 80s references!
mateo, do they actually play the episodes in their entirety, or just snippets? I'm going to have to check it out... at youtube.
full episodes in 2 parts... there is quite a few!
Haha...I loved this show. I remember watching it on saturday afternoons along with that show about the alien girl who could freeze time by putting her finger tips together. I think it was called "Out of This World" or something.
I think *everybody* remembers this show.
Wasn't it creepy how they put VICI in Jamie's closet at night to go to sleep?
And as far as the "annoying next-door neighbor" goes, Harriet is high up on that list.
I remember the episode when the son admitted that he long ago broke an angel lamp that he glued back together and that is why she is cross-eyed. Then the robot girl said, "And pigeon toed."
I also remember that her tears shot straight out of her eye sockets.
I preferred Out Of This World.
I loved OUT OF THIS WORLD! I was a little bit older by this time and thus remember it clearly and fondly. (This time, no bad Spanish dubbing.) I often wished I could freeze time so that I could go into a store undetected and steal whichever toys I wanted. I also had a thing for Steve Burton.
*starts humming*

I did several shows at a dinner theatre in Omaha in the mid 1970's with Dick Christie, who played the dad on Small Wonder. Besides being an actor, he was also a successful photographer.
If I can, I will find a fansite for Small Wonder...On the Tiffany Brissette fan portion of the site, there are letters. Fans write letters as recent as 2001 from Pakistan, India, etc. Very funny!

Isn't Tiffany Brissette heavily into the born-again movement now? Should we add her to the Republican actor list?
And any show that gave airtime to Edie McClurg is A-OK with me.
I love that Edie McClurg was in Carrie (the movie). She looked like she was about 35, playing a high school student.
as a 35-year-old high school student i don't have a problem with that.
She would have looked like a freshman at West Beverly High.
I don't think she's your type.
Of course, her definitive role was as Mrs. Marv Mendenhall on the old Dave Letterman show when it was on in the daytime. When it was funny.
And that will be enough out of you, Calvin.
Mrs. Marv Mendenhall could kick the fruitcake lady's pruney ass.
I just loved her banana curls...I love the scene in Carrie when the girls are doing calistenics and they pan down the line to porn music.
knee socks and those border piped shorts...that is when gym was gym!
And, even if she is a republican, Tiffany Brissette shouldnt appear on any actor list.
