I hate to admit it, but there is an amazing black gospel version of "Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross" that Rachell Ferrell did live. It is almost the ONLY thing I listen to now.

if it weren't for Rufus Wainwright, I'd only be listening to that.

Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."

C'est Bon Aujord H'ui by Rafael.

Beautiful French folk/pop singer I recently discovered.

I can honestly say that I enjoy every single song on the album- very rare.

"Fever" and "Hey Big Spender"--Miss Peggy Lee. Listening constantly while on dog walks around the 'hood.

Overly-dramatic hand gestures and dance steps are beginning to accompany the songs; I think my inner draq queen is clawing her way to the surface. She's going to burst out--like "Alien" but with gobs of foundation instead of all that drippy glycerine.

I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)

Lately it's the OBC of Mack and Mabel. I've fallen in love with the whole thing.
