Oh I love that woman...I may have to watch it then in spite of my brother's obsession...you see everything I love he hates and vice versa....it's complicated.

Best show on TV, i am always horrified when this is left out at awards nights, this is a brilliantly written TV show, love the Shakespeare subtext to it and Katy Segal is insanely good in this. Have not watched this weeks episode yet but will be doing tonight.

I think this season is actually one of its best so far, i don't think things are gonna end well for Tara but i can see why she is doing what she is doing.

I get why Tara NEEDS to do what she is doing, but the way she is going about it makes me HATE her. Too many people know what she did, anyway. It will come out.

I have trouble getting mad at Jemma. I think, "Eh, she's screwed up. She's been through it." This probably speaks volumes about my own relationship with my mother. lol

Some say it's patterned after Hells Angels and in the first or second season, Sonny Barger, a HA founding member did a cameo. 99% of bikers are NOTHING like this.

They pull some REALLY hard stuff in broad open daylight and either don't get caught or get away with it. I mean, stuff is blowing up, people are getting killed, there are MAJOR chases with lots of gunfire... The idea that no one can ever catch them is just ridiculous. That said, I try not to overanalyze and just enjoy it. In the current season, you can tell Kurt Sutter, the head writer (and Katy Sagal's real-life hubby), is a little obsessed with prison rape.

sagal also provides many of the vocals for the soundtrack. that's her doing "son of a preacher man" in that season one montage. i think dusty would have approved.

I've been over Tara since her first episode. The show definitely goes off the tracks at points, but altogether is fantastic. Incredible acting. How Katy has not won more awards for her role I will never understand. This & my other favorite show, Justified, continually get the shaft. Poor FX Tuesday night shows.

I am STILL not over a certain moment of Season 5 (if you've seen it you know exactly what I'm talking about). I actually started sobbing when it was airing. Not many shows can do that to me.

Show only has 1 more season left so I expect Sutter to pull no punches.

I just dove in, cold, and watched tonight's episode to see what it was like.

Knowing nothing of what the heck is going on, I can't speak to the story, but the performances are pretty fine across the board. I'll add my voice to the chorus of love for Katey Sagal--I'll head over to imdb next and see what's what, but has she not received any major, mainstream awards for this character? I'd say she's right up there with Edie Falco's Carmela Soprano--a nuanced and powerful performance. Keeping Peg Bundy funny for 11 seasons couldn't have been easy, but this is something completely different.

And that IS Jimmy Smits, right? I re-wound to the credits, and I didn't see his name.

I'm definitely going to plan to start the first season over the coming holiday break. The only caveat I'll make is with regard to blood and gore--I really don't have much of a stomach for blood spurting out of bullet-hole-ridden bodies...

As my Facebook friends know, I am OBSESSED with this show. More importantly, I am obsessed with Katey. She steals every scene. I'm on the season 5 finale now and I'm super pissed that the sixth season isn't available yet.

Tara was awesome in the first few seasons, but now she's getting repetitive. My favorite Tara scene is when she beats up her boss.

Juice can juice me anytime he wants. He is so hot, even with those stupid head tattoos.

Opie's also cute, in that dumb, cuddly teddy bear way.

I was hoping she'd take the boys and go to Oregon, just to get her off the show.
