Does anyone know of any specialty or independent bookstores in Manhattan, preferrably in Midtown, but anything is fine really.
Also if there are any "sights" that have a literary meaning to them (i.e the apartment of a famous author) please let me know.

EDIT: I just found the Mysterious Bookshop in Tribeca.

Isn't Applause Books closed? Or was that Sam French?
The Mysterious Bookshop in Tribeca is interesting. I stumbled in one day, but I don't really read mystery.
