There was some said during Pope Francis' visit that sounded harsh. But I have already forgiven you. And Merry Christmas.

Great. I can can sleep easy now.

??? ????????

I sure hope BWW can accommodate Russian phrases or else it's discriminatory to Russian immigrant millennial Roman Catholics. (God, when that conservative radio producer creates characters he doesn't make it easy on himself.)

NYET on the Russian!

So if religion is shown or mentioned in a bad light then we will be forgiven by this Broadway World poster? Ok , thanks God. Very odd.

Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna

To the OP: you are a psycho.

You started a thread in response to comments that were never even made.

Reminds me of another poster who pretended to be outraged over nothing in an attempt to rile people up.

And that poster also "forgave" people who didn't do anything to warrant being forgiven for.

But, hey if you need to stew in your juices go right ahead. I don't think anyone here really cares (nor should they).

It's a shame this new personality wasn't smart enough to change the vocabulary it used when discussing this issue from the exact same words it used as an earlier personality. Not to mention still arguing with people over things that were said to its earlier incarnation! The problem with lying so much is keeping it all straight. Because if you don't, you get caught, like you're currently caught OP.

Yeah, now that I've put together who this person's earlier persona was, I understand why I got called out. Of course, if this poster truly was "new," they would have no idea what transpired before their arrival. But I guess it doesn't matter since we've all been "forgiven."

Jesus Christ, why do we get so many crazies here?

Also, as someone who deeply truly hates the institutionalized ways in which sexual abuse has been protected by the Catholic Church, I found SPOTLIGHT to be so unremarkable, with Mark Ruffalo giving a surprisingly hammy performance, perhaps he was still reeling from that horrendous AGE OF ULTRON movie he had to be in earlier in the year.

I haven't even seen Spotlight, much less said anything about it. So, what does this thread have to do with me? Why would I need forgiveness from a sock puppet? Because I might have had an opinion about something at some time in the past they didn't like?

If so, I hated the pseudo-homophobia episode of Two Broke Girls and therefore, I forgive Nathan Lane for his stage door attitude that one time in 1996. If you can't connect the dots, then may God have mercy on your souls. I talking to you, Namo and tazber. And Nathan Lane.

Agreed on all points. Ruffalo was the weakest link in the cast. Michael Keaton was the second weakest link. Pity they had the two largest roles (whereas many of the supporting cast were fantastic).

The two of you along with adam_greer, Jordan Catalano, Phyllis Rogers Stone, Carlos Alberto and SNAFU made comments about Pope Francis and the Church that I did not agree with. When I first created this thread I atomically assumed that all of these users, who have strong dislike for the church, had seen the film. I basically jumped into conclusions way too quickly. If I wanted to make this argument I should have waited till all of you had posted comments about the film instead of combining the topic of Spotlight along with all of your views on the church. I apologize for the confusion which I have created.

I saw Spotlight two weeks ago. Although for the most part, it was well acted, I don't get the wow factor for this film. It was good but I really don't see "best picture". On the other hand, I saw Joy today, which is getting poor reviews, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I also still harbor no ill will towards those seven users and I think it's time we move on from what has happened.

Move on from what? Some random thread started by some random sock that makes no sense to begin with?

Trust me, none of us seven users whom you have decided to personally target because we don't share your views vis a vis the church have nothing to move on from.

Someone who has been secretly harboring resentment of other people for no legitimate reason other than a difference of opinion however needs to move on to seek professional help.
