This is an equity audition, but they are looking for teens. You think it is worth signing up on the wait list, to be seen after equity?

Go for it if you have the time. There's nothing to lose.
I had the same idea.
I would have to miss school I think. I probably won't go, but who knows.
I auditioned for the off-bway production and made it to the final callback (after 5 regular callbacks) and then was called in once more after the show was cast for a replacement. Go for it. Why not? Something great could come of it. The equity audition is just a label, as someone w/o the card could be more talented.
what are they "looking" for to be exact? Just a short song?
yeah prob just like a verse and a chorus of a pop/rock song.
Some people asked me to audition for it, but I'm not sure of the content. I don't know anything about the show, I just know that there's some "suggestive" material
I got to audition last week. It was really nerve wracking because 15 people were in the room including Mr. Sheik himself but, they were all so nice and I got to read some sides. Don't think anything will come of it but, hey you never know!
Ok so, I decided I'm going for it. I'm going to the call on the 13th, and if I can't be seen because of time, I'm going to try again the 14th. I figured, why not? They are looking for teenagers and younger talent, and really, a lot of us aren't equity, so I might have a shot at being seen! My only worry is my audition song. I'm having so much trouble figuring out something appropriate. Does anyone have any suggestions, I'm a male, baritenor, so I have a pretty big range as to what I can sing. Any suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks everyone, and best of luck to everyone auditioning! Maybe I'll see you there!
