For once I wish the pundits would bring on someone with an objective eye on things.

Surely there is someone, even on the left, who can bring up the shortcomings of this administration without becoming hysterical. Hell, I'd take Michael Moore at this point.

He was probably on some other outlet. Interesting how the big todo today is just how bad the rebuttals were . At least from what I have been listening too. Still can't get over the guy from Duck Dynasty being there. Kind of disheartening that Republicans do't have a grasp on just how badly they are viewed. I was hoping that by this point they would have some of their **** together. They are making the same mistakes as before. Was hoping for some real choices this election. But I guess we just now wait for Hillary.

The entire D.C. federal machine is a complete joke. They're all asshats. Left and Right. House and Senate. I don't think any "objective" politicians exist. You only find those kind of people outside the D.C. cronyism and at the state level...if you're lucky.

Ehh...I'm not sold on Sanders. There's just no practical way a true Independent enjoys longevity in this political climate with the rare exception of one or two. It's also well-documented that Sanders was a progressive liberal before conveniently morphing into an "Independent."
Even Senator Angus King, who I believe is the most authentic Centrist in D.C. right now, is beginning to lean to the right more often now. Perhaps his true colors are showing.

Sanders is an independent socialist who caucuses with the democrats. He's the only self identified socialist that's been elected to congress in about 60 years.
He ran as an independent in his very first election. He was the first independent elected to US House of Representatives in 40 years. That was in 1990. He never ran as anything but a socialist independent. And his voting record has been consistent with that.

I understand that, but I have also read many of his publications and interpret his views much differently. Furthermore, I wasn't really referring to Independents so much as Centrists. Two completely different animals. King is a Centrist, Sanders is a "Socialist Independent." Either way, I just don't buy into the system or anyone contributing to the corrupt facade even if they're trying to change it from within. Just wish there could be a larger push to break down the two party system.
