Ugh, the last two posts are why I'm so conflicted! I love Ewan, but hate scary/twisty/suspenseful movies. I'm so boring, aren't I? I don't like to be scared!!

Hey after seeing Trainspotting and Saw back to back I'm ready for ANYTHING now. Seriously the first time I saw Trainspotting I was hiding behind pillows..Saw too. So now of course I'm going to suck it up for Ewan and his performance. I'm not TOO sure about the script because it's not amazing but I am sure that Ewan can work with anything after the script of Star Wars..

I watched Trainspotting, but I had to turn away whenever the needles came out (which was often, I suppose). I get squeamish with needles. Will NEVER EVER EVER see Saw.

Let me know how this one is, k? I don't know if I can handle it! I might have to take a friend and hold their hand.

Allie - I am SO with you! I actually try to AVOID being frightened, as a general rule.

I think I'll just throw in the DVD of Velvet Goldmine and watch a certain scene - again, and again, and . . .

The roof scene?! That's one the only scene I can remember from that movie... I haven't seen it in AGES. And I remember reading an interview with Ewan where the director only whispered "Cut" and the two of them just kept going at it, because they couldn't hear the cut. Hooo boy!

WAHAAHAHAHA when my mom found out I had not only seen Velvet Goldmine but bought the movie..she punished me for like a month...but then I had a talk with her and she was all "Fine you're mature enough to handle it" soooo....

Oh wow Velvet Goldmine..anyone seen Nora? But why am I asking this here...I should be asking this on Ewan love thread.I'll go fetch that one and ask you all there. Hmmph.

Can I be very frank with you? There's a part where he's on stage and he's beeing booed so he starts like playing with his penis and in the end takes off his pants, flashing his goods to the entire crowd while flicking them off. Oh and gay sex.

Ewan's entrance into the movie is during a concert sequence, and it's one of the hottest things I've ever seen in my life - and that's saying something.
