More a comment about Illinois (and specifically Chicago politics) in general.

But then again, some of the state legislators in California seem to be quick studies on saying one thing and doing another.

The only thing I know about the stimulous bill is that after it was first voted on it was revised, some things taken out and some added. All together it was almost 1100 pages. Did those who voted for it know all that was in it? I hope so.

I may not know a lot about theater but I know that I love it.

Well I knew their first alliegences were to special interests but I thought for sure they might want to be clear on what they voted for or against.

I may not know a lot about theater but I know that I love it.

At the risk of giving Papa actual fodder for challenging the Obama administration's transparency promise, as opposed to the crap he's been raising, Obama promised to post all non-emergency bills on the White House website for five days before signing. They haven't been living up to that promise.
