re: Superbowl

I enjoyed her performance...she looked beautiful! Her hair was all over the place, though. 8:52 left until the halftime show. re: Superbowl

Yes, she did a fine job. I was glad she chose to dress with class, as well.

Tom Brady is exceptionally handsome. He also has sexy buns.

He also sat two rows behind Laura "Pickles" Bush at the State of the Union address, clapping his patriotic head off.

Go Carolina Pansies, or whatever they're called!

I'm skipping the half-time show. It hasn't been the same since TGC headed the entertainment list.

Well, you missed concrete proof that MTV can produce clunky medleys with unforgiveable transitions that are far worse than anything Debbie Allen ever created for an awards show.

Sorry uniq, but why does Janet even bother with the fake head mike? In fact, why does she bother showing up at all? Surely the technology exists for her to send a hologram of herself lipsynching to old songs and replicating dance moves from a video that's over a decade and a half old? When was the last time another human being actually heard her sing a note live?

It was nice to see her cavorting with a boy half her age, tho.

Also, did you notice nobody but nobody in the paid seats was clapping or moving around like the imported "kids" on the field? And how "sweetened" the roaring crowd sounds were during the numbers?

The entire 1/2 time was a dated bit of S-*-*-t.

Boring, tired, old piece of nonsense. Janet Jackson, damn, might as well bring back Marilyn Miller. Now that was a singer and dancer! re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Superbowl I still believe that Janet is Micheal in full regalia, tits and all.

Anyone understand more than isolated words of anything that was sung by any of the "talent"? I doubt it, no matter how much you might say "yes."

Ghetto ignornance permeates American society and contemporary entertainment as evidenced by the elevation of it to Superbowl Sunday Intermission Entertainment.

Sad, sad, sad.

The aspect of male "singers" grabbing their crotches throughout their singing of garbled repetitive non-musiccal lyrics and a self-important faded pop star baring her silicone implanted breast on national television for shock value are examples of ghetto ignornance, in my opinion.

There is much more beauty and talent in the world which contributes in a positive way to the betterment of society.

This was pure liberal bullsh*t, and as is often the case the first response by a supporter of this **** is to cry "racism."

Ridiculous.

The question on Janet's tah tah (only one was in view) is whether it was planned or accidental. We had a discussion on this at the party I just got back from, and they informed me that if they were fake they would not have sagged, therefore they are real. I don't know how true that is, but thats what I heard. Do we have a plastic surgeon in the house!re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Superbowl

Yes, National Football League fans are among the very last citizens of the nation to want to have anything to do with a breast with a pasty on it as part of their entertainment. I am sure they would much prefer something from a "better Broadway" because NFL fans are known to be GIGANTIC SHOW TUNE LOVERS.

I'm sorry Bulldog. I am absolutely not a fan of P Diddy, I criticized Janet's "performance" before you even chimed in on this thread, and yes, crotch grabbing is completely out of place in an event filled with ass-patting! I believe you could have criticized each and all of the performers for their own lack of merit, but I AM SORRY, "ghetto ignorance" is a generalized, blanket, racist statement.

That Roxy praised you on a "score" should be a big clue.

Nothing wrong with being liberal & each side debating ideas. I respect liberal views though I do not oftem agree ith them. I hope the liberals on the board would reciprocate

When one side calls a sitting President Hitler & calls for regime change ( Thereby comparing Bush to Hussein ) this crosses the line of political debate. You do not agree with him fine. Campaign against him but the above is a low blow.

superbowl

what a freakin' game. i don't care who you were rooting for, that was a damn fine game. like two heavyweights feeling each other out for the first quarter and a half and then boom! a pesal to the metal slugfest. funny, the last great superbowl happened to have the pats in it too. bill belichick is my hero. namo, your pansies put up a good fight, but in the end the right team was holding the big silver ball.

can anyone tell me why a p. diddy and nelly needed to lipsynch, yet kid rock and even justin timberlake could sing live? janet i could understand, i mean that dancing stuff is tough. whattaya think she is, a broadway performer? i liked the sets, the lights were splendid and i'm a sucker for fire...large pillars of fire...heh heh, heh heh. fire.

"ghetto ignorance" is suspiciously close to a term i used to hear a lot growing up which i still berate my father for using. but then, he's 87 and was born the son of a sharecropper so i cut him a little slack, not much but a little. it's racist, bulldog, and that's not a liberal opinion. maybe you didn't mean it as such, but a man of your intelligence and sometime eloquence could easily have found a phrase that captured your intention without the racial connotation. i think you're better than that.

mrs. mambo said it best, "what a f****** game!!"
