In case you were wondering where Sarah Palin stood on this issue, this is her response to the SCOTUS decision, delivered via Twitter (what else?):

"Common sense & decency absent as wacko "church" allowed hate msgs spewed@ soldiers' funerals but we can't invoke God's name in public square."

Of course, she has since tried to walk back this comment, since it shows her ignorance.

She tried to spin this into something about prayer in school, or the assault on Christmas, or some other nonsense.
