What was the surprise in Boys Don't Cry? it was based on a true story that got lots of press. I first read an article on the case in PLAYBOY and said to myself, "This story would make a good movie!".

Jon - we just saw Pay it Forward a very short time ago - and we were SCREAMING at the screen at that conclusion. It's been a LONG time since something in a movie p*ssed me off that much!

Not a movie, but when I read "A Suitable Boy" by Vikram Seth I had a similar reaction. I threw the book across the room.

Abandon(i know, i dont think anyone on earth saw it other than me)--it was more of a "oh my god did i just sit and watch this for 2 hours for it to end like that" kind of surprise though

Fight Club. Technically, I only saw the last 15 minutes, but suddenly it was like "where'd Brad Pitt go?"
