Tonight is the night!

Anyone watching?

I loved the 'fan team' reaction to the announcement that they were playing against favorites.

So happy to have Survivor back!

I'd forgotten how much I loved Ozzy.

OMG! "So you're gay...does that mean you want to be a girl?"

I spit out my orange juice! HILARIOUS!

One of my Favorites is DEFINITELY missing...I forget his name, but he was in one of the earlier seasons and he came back for the All-Stars season. He has grizzly features, is a family man, and was REALLY good at catching fish. When someone lost the tribe's fish-hook, he swam and found it. Everyone loved him but he got screwed over both seasons he played.

It seems like the Favorites are very limited to the recent seasons. Shame. I'm rooting for the Fans.

I *HATE* Johnny Fairplay and I think they will quickly get the hint to vote him out ASAP!

Rupert? (or something like that).
(I'm guessing they didn't want to overdo the people who had been on All-Stars)

Ok, what the heck was THAT all about? Did he really just flake out?

RUPERT! That's him! Good memory!

Wow, I didn't expect Fairplay to be legit. I thought he was up to his old scheme. And he STILL came off as an asshole.

He runs a Miss America Local Pageant out in Pittsburgh. We've had a healthy competition going on for almost twenty years.

I actually watched it for the first time in ages. I didn't recognize most of the "fan favorites." I remembered Eliza and Ami, and Johnny Fairplay, of course, and I vaguely remembered Cirie, Ozzy and the Alan Alda-sounding guy (that was the season during which I moved to New York, didn't have cable for six weeks and subsequently lost interest).

That Incredible Hulk guy is scary!

I didn't remember all of them right away. But, then watching them in action, I was reminded of their previous games.

Jonathan is the Alan-Alda sounding guy. Phyllis thinks he's sexy.

I think Ozzy is adorable.

I like the hulk guy, too.

Well, I really enjoyed it. I loved that the fans beat the favorites. This could be the most meta season of Survivor ever when you consider how many freakin' levels are at work here. Although I really think I'm too much a wussy with a p to be on it, I would have LOVED to be on this season.

Oh god, I'm so glad that he got the boot. I am thrilled that he's one douche I don't have to trouble myself with this season.

I didn't realize it started last week until I read "Entertainment Weekly" from two weeks ago! (I am a little behind.) So, I watched on-line at lunch.

So, the only thing memorable about Ami that the producers could come up with is that she is a lesbian?!? In the montage of favorites everyone else got a clip of a strategic moment, and Ami is shown hugging her girlfriend. "Oh, she's a lesbian! I remember her!"

Well, I was a teensy bit skeptical going in, seeing as how they brought back Fairplay and James, but if the first episode is any indication, this will be the best Survivor season in a long time. I didn't know if I could stand a full season of Fairplay, but thankfully, it was only one episode. The crazy fan lady is HILARIOUS! I'd like to see her stick around for reasons of pure entertainment. I don't remember much else about the Fans other than Johnny B because he's hot. I'm hoping Eliza or James goes next. I never liked Eliza and James was only brought back for his muscles. I mean, if you want muscles, why not bring back the all-time muscle hottie, Ibrehem from Survivor Palau. His body was WAY better.

I'm hoping Cirie wins. If not her, then Yau Man. After that, it's anything goes, really. I'm really psyched about this season. Some great players.

I wish that Ozzie had played the immunity idol. That being said, he was being foolish by going on and on and on about the food the winners ate. I hope that Cerie doesn't win. Yes, she's manipulative and is playing the game, but she's also lazy. If she were to make it to the finals, that'll bite her in the butt.

Ozzy is stupid! Two season in a row, no idol used. WTF? I will agree it was a great episode.
