I was shocked Chet lasted as long as he did. I felt bad in his last challenge where he was getting dragged around by that big guy.

I still have no idea why Chet signed on for the show. He really seemed like he never wanted to be there. Like he was somehow pushed into it.

one word ... EGO.

He actually was approached by a casting director who is a friend and a former pageant contestant of his and asked to submit materials for the show. He didn't apply on his own.

SOMMS - I suspected as much. The concept that they were these hard-core Survivor fans was completely blown the minute they all acted like they were surprised by such things as lying, playing in challenges, strategizing, what a hidden idol looks like, etc. I feel sorry for all the people who got turned down who actually wanted to be there.

doodle - Though he wasn't out yet, I'd have to give the prize of sexist gay Survivor to J.P. Calderon.

Third blind side in a row! What a great season it's turning into! But, how stupid are Amanda and Parvati to have missed a golden opportunity to get rid of Cirie? I love Cirie (and hope she wins it all) but she is definitely the biggest threat to them winning. Dumb move! They could have picked off gimpy girl later, or better yet, simply waited for her to be sent packing ala James, Chet and Jonathan because of the knee injury.

Amanda should be an actress!! SWEET! She's been bugging me this whole season (the sad girl), but that was great!

I agree that they should've gone after Cirie, and am amazed that neither group went after her...she is so good, these people dont even know she's that good! LOVE HER!

Whatser name's brother was cute...

And, coming out later doesnt count, matty...but he is cute, though I still think John was cuter. They were both douchebags on the show.

Three great episodes in a row! What a fantastic season this has turned out to be!

Agree about Cirie, but I think Alexis WAS a threat, at least until her knee injury. She had been flying under the radar. Those can be dangerous people. However, the way she was walking, a medical discharge seemed like an inevitability.

I don't think Aras is gay ... hot? Oh, yes.

I dont think that's quite true, Dottie...but we'll see. Plenty of lazy people have won...the flying under the radar, but not offending people strategy (Vacepia).

None of the others who are left are doing any more. If Cirie has a strike against her it's that she doesnt win challenges...and that sways some votes. She does outwit and outplay, however!

They need to get Natalie out of there, but I can't imagine who would vote for her. Cirie does seem to control the game. Next week will be great with the aftermath of the idol.

I loved watching Amanda get back in the game last night. I almost forgot why I liked her last season. As soon as I saw her volunteer to go to Exile Island, I knew she finally devised a plan and she got SO lucky her motives weren't obvious enough or else one of the power players of the alliance would have been sent. My only fault with Amanda's play was confiding in Parvati who has done nothing but scheme behind Amanda's back time and again. Like before, she got lucky Parvati decided to follow through instead of plotting something totally different and leaving Amanda out of the loop...AGAIN. I do think Eric's immunity win had everything to do with it and I'm not convinced Eric would have definitely gone home if he hadn't won immunity. But the way Amanda performed during tribal was priceless. Good for her! I hope Natalie goes soon. She is getting more repugnant each week. I would've rather seen Alexis stay. Poor James. At least he didn't leave for being an idiot this time. I think he dodged a bullet there.

I have been a huge SURVIVOR fan since season 1, but this has just deteriorated...
