re: re:

Just to throw in my two cents...

I think Sutton is lovely. Who CARES if she doesn't wear any make up? As a female myself, I think she has a lot of guts to go out in public, hair worn straight and no makeup and just roll with the look. Wearing make-up 24-7 is actually very bad for your skin, so it's good for it to take a breather quite often. I just think it's so stupid that people are reduced to talking about how crappy Sutton looks. WHO CARES? She is INSANELY talented. There's just something special about her. In a sense, she reminds me of Mary Martin. Mary wasn't exactly drop-dead gorgeous, but she was FEROCIOUSLY talented. Sutton, in her own right, is ridiculously talented. So... three cheers for Sutton, and I wish that the rest of the world could find it in their hearts not to be vain the way Sutton has.

re: re:

Personally, from a professional standpoint, it wouldn't kill her to put a little more effort into her appearance when doing something publicity-wise.

re: re:

Ouch.
Actually, it makes me laugh b/c I am sure my friends are sick of hearing me talking about how naturally beautiful Sutton is.
I would understand this if perhaps she didnt brush her hair or something, but she does always have her hair up in some cute way. And I think she is just radiantly beautiful... she has such a natural glow. If my skin could look like that I would be so happy. Heck, if I could have most anything of hers (singing/acting/face/hair) I would be quite the happy camper.
Plus, the natural look suits her personality.

re: re:

What would I do if I could giver Sutton Foster a Cosmo makeover? I'd leave her the way she is. I think she's adorable. All the makeup in the world can't compare to that megawatt smile.

re: re:

Oh no, she *IS* very pretty, don't get me wrong... but there are LOTS of naturally pretty actors and actresses who put a little more effort into how they look when they do an event. I realize she looks very young, but she doesn't need to look 12 and like she just rolled out of bed everytime she does an event/makes an appearance. I'm not saying she needs tons of make-up either (or even any) -- it just wouldn't kill her to maybe get a more flattering haircut or take the time to do her hair or be a tiny bit more cogniscent of the clothes she's wearing for public appearances.

I worked Broadway on Broadway and I was more 'dolled up' than she was....

re: re:

She already got a makeover at A Makeover Story on TLC. If it didn't take...I'm not sure our suggestions will help.

She is georgous, and has a very handsome boyfriend, so I wouldn't worry too much about her.

couldn't have said it better myself. people should start worrying about themeselves instead of worrying about whether someone is wearing makeup or doing their hair....how shallow

re: re:

No one needs make up to be beautiful. I think she is gorgeous without it. I think it is beautiful that she is so confident with herself that she doesn't feel the need to put make up on to impress people.

'No one needs make up to be beautiful.'

That is perhaps the most untrue thing I've ever read in my life.

And another thing that kills me about this thread? Everyone is all up-in-arms about daring to suggest that Ms. Foster try to spruce up every once in a while (personally, I could give two sh*ts), but there are a bunch of folks in the Real World 15 thread that are taking some of the new castmembers to task for the way they look.

Just interesting.

re: re:

It is true. I'm not saying everyone in the world is pretty. That would be a lie. I'm saying if you were really pretty you don't need to wear make up. Make up doesn't make you pretty if you are ugly. It just leaves you as an ugly person with a lot of make up on your face.

I'm sorry I'm being biased, I just can't stand make up at all. . .

re: re:

I don't wear makeup either, except on special occasions (wedding, prom...which is still yet to come). Sutton doesn't wear makeup every time - so what? When she puts on makeup, though, it really does bring out her features.

I'm with bronte and Marquise. Next thing you know we'll be talking about whether Kerry or Bush has a bigger hoo-hoo.

Stop worrying about what I'm doing -- focus instead on what you're eating.

Well there I have to disagree with you, Bobby.

Somebody get this girl good material. STAT.

I've never seen someone do so much with crap. I'd love to see what she could do with really well written stuff!
