*gasps*
I know I'm gonna get scorned for this, but I've never been one to say anything like "The N Word". I think it gives said word too much importance.
Just say it and get it out.
I NOT CRAZY!!!
I thought T.R. was dating Barrett Foa. I may have just pulled that out of nowhere, though; I can't remember where I heard it. Not that it matters or is any of my business.
If the reports are true, I'm disgusted by Isaiah Washington's behavior. I'm a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy and I don't think I can look at Burke (Washington's character) the same way now.

According to Perez Hilton, the producers are looking to replace Washington over the slur/fight. So the character, but not the actor, appears to be staying.
Rumored possibilities for replacements include: Bill Bellamy, Boris Kodjoe, and former E.R. star Eriq LaSalle.
Darlings, if I state something it is because I read it somewhere. I do not make things up. Patrick Dempsey was supposed to be thinking of quitting show biz right before the offer for the part on Grey's Anatomy. He had not had a good part RECENTLY. I read that more than once. Isiah was a serious stage actor and thought Demsey fell into dodo by getting the part and was aloof to the cast. I love the show and do not look at Isiah is the same light as before. He was unprofessional and arrogant. Maybe he should be called Mcasshole. I saw T.R. in Noises Off and do remember him as he signed an autograph. Very cute and sweet.
I never understood that.
How can you replace to actor, but keep the character? They both should be out.

If the character is more important than the actor, the character can stay if the actor goes. It's not that hard to comprehend.
And besides, all black people look alike anyway.

It's going to be hard for me to see a different actor that's playing Burke.

Dick... York
Dick... Sergeant
Sergeant York!
They changed moms on Fresh Prince of Bel Air. They changed Lionels on The Jeffersons. They changed Beckys on Roseanne. Then the original Becky came back. Then she left again and Becky 2.0 came back! There were two Marilyn Munsters. Two Morty Seinfelds.
There were three different Catwomen and two Riddlers on Batman.

I'm sure I'll get used to it, and I won't stop watching the show.
I didn't know that about Roseanne.
I did know that two Dick's played Samantha's husband and that there were two mom's on Fresh Prince though.
"I did know that two Dick's played Samantha's husband"
Now, now, let's not disrespect the dead.
It's like daytime soap operas! Of the top of my head, I can think of the four actors who played Carly on General Hospital and three who played Lucky (on GH as well).
You get used to another person playing the role, even if you don't think the actor fits the character.
Though, I really like the idea of Eriq LaSalle...I loved his character on ER.
Dr. Benton!
I can see that.

On the first episode of Rosanne to feature Sarah Chalke as Becky 2.0, they were watching a rerun of Bewitched, and Rosanne said "I can't beleive they just stuck in a new actor as Darrin and didn't even care if people noticed", to ehich Sarah Chalke repled, "I like the new Darrin better than the original!"
Yeah, well, no one liked the new Becky better than the original.

Jon - I loved when Sarah came back after Lecy returned, as a mother trick or treating with her kids. Roseanne had such a spectacular way of poking fun at herself and the business.
I also liked the B&W twin bit the two Beckys performed during the closing credits of one episode, a la THE PATTY DUKE SHOW.

"You can't just switch Dicks mid-stream and expect no one to notice!"
Unless they're the same size.
What? Someone was gonna say it.
Reminds me of that song -- "Detachable Penis."
