Posted: 7/24/04 at 10:41pmSo has anyone checked out the new super Target in Brooklyn? It only took me 20 min to get there from my apt in Manhattan, door to door. It is amazing!!! Everybody get your little butts there and quick!

I know that Bobo warned against it, but I have an unhealthy obsession with Target.
I just bought this great lapdesk thing for $10 there yesterday (which, btw, my laptop is sitting on right now) and I LOVE it.
Also, Target has great lip gloss.
Okay, I'm done now.

Glad there's one in NYC for when I move there, in about three years lol. I love me some Target

I went to an IKEA in Canada once.
Horrible experience.
The whole store was built in this big circle, and my family ended up getting separated and lost.
Are the US and Spanish ones the same way, or is this just a Canadian thing?

It's the same way in spain ff... I use to go to buy props and furniture for our shootings with the art director, and it's fun to get lost spending lots of (other's) money!
btw
If you gou to ikea, try the ikea's meatballs at the restaurant... I love it!

Lol...
I am tired of "tapas", you know...
patatas bravas (spicy potatoes)
pulpo a la gallega (galician's octopuss)
and even paella

the carton is already assembled.
But the choolate cames in a separate box, and you have to put it together with the cookies by yourself.
just kidding

There's an Ikea about 15 minutes from me (on Long Island) and I dread that store. I've gotten lost in it too many times to enjoy it! I can do the catalogue and I can go in and go to the basement part where they have the frames, etc, but the main store scares me.
As for the Target on Atlantic Avenue I didn't even know it was open until last night. I actually was driving by it at about 11:45pm and saw the signs for it and went "Oooooooooooh I must go there." We have Targets closer to me but that one seems very interesting so I'll probably wander into it next week or the week after when I'm back in Brooklyn.
