Hope no one went to Target today. I had to go pick something up that I bought yesterday and there must have been 8 million people there. It was sooo insane. it was the official grand opening and there was lots of free food and stuff. Apparently everyone in Brooklyn who has children decided they needed to get free food today.... it was also the grang opening of Chuck E Cheese, which didn't help.... madness.....

We have none here as well Beave! Next town over does. A mc Donalds express didn't even make it here. This small little college town does not like big business

Here in NYC, ever since the yuppie scum took control, there has been nothing but chain stores. NYC has lost its originality. All you see are clones of every other store in America. (Disclaimer: I have succumbed and shop at Target).

There's also a Target on 225th street.

But, what they need to do is get rid of the K-Mart on 34th street, and open a target there, cuz that K-Mart is crap.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

I agree.

And they need to rearrange or get rid of the one at Astor Place. That beautiful building has a great view on the second floor and they have furniture stuck up in that area.

I do love me some Tar-jay! We don't have ANY WAll Marts here in LA and IKEA is way far away. BUT the new Tar-jay has this really cool thing next to the escalators that you can send your cart up or down one side and you ride on the other, it's cool. No more waiting for elevators. I also like how they remind you to remove your child before putting your cart on, hahahaha!

I love Target.....it is one of my favorite stores. As for Ikea...we just got one in New Haven but it has been so busy and crowded with Yale students that you can;t get near it. I have been to an Ikea in Palo Alto, CA and my little niece and nephew love the meatballs there. BTW, Rath.........I, too have traveled to Brooklyn all the way from Hartford just for sex. But we broke up. Oh, I need to go to Target and stock up on batteries.

Do the Ikeas in the States also have a 2 hot dogs + drink for $2 combo? And $1 sausage and egg breakfast? Fantastic!

Ugh! Boycott Target! They give to Republicans and wouldn't allow the Salvation Army to have bell-ringers in front of their stores!!

Surprising about the protest. FYI - Republicans are all for the Salvation Army. It's the gay people who are against the SA, as there has been some controversy.
And so what that Target gives to Republicans. The merchandise is still the same. That statement is equivalent to a racist comment.
