My only problem with Mr. Chips is that it always leaves me sobbing. At the most "Birdcage" might leave me laughing till I cry! I just can't handle the tears right now.

Chips is so very good.

And I'm a big fan of The Birdcage too. It's damn funny, and has held up better than most comedies, gay or straight.

I agree "To Be or Not To Be" is exceptional. Carol Lombard shines and Jack Benny is great.

I can't decide whether to watch TO BE OR NOT TO BE while it's actually airing or just record it. There is one fabulous movie on after the next all day...and night!!! I have things I'm supposed to "do" today. OH NOOOOOOOO!

I'm the same way, cturtle. That's why I'm glad we are DVRing it. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 2:16 and thought, "Too late. Must start at the very beginning." Because it's a very good place to start.
