Sorry for being four days late. I actually had forgotten about it this year before I wondered why they were showing so many Judy Garland movies today.
It's the Most (Forgotten but) Wonderful Time!
Alexis Smith!!!!
Lots of great movies were on yesterday for Walter Pidgeon though I really feel they should just call it Walter Pidgeon/Greer Garson Day instead.

Thanks Wynbish!!!
I'm like the delinquents in the back of the class with comic books hidden inside their text books. I've got my headphones on and if I adjust my screen JUST right none of my employees can see that I'm spending the day watching Judy...
Thanks for the heads up! Summer Stock is a favorite, and I don't own it. I hope that setting the DVR from work actually happens.
I think of all the movies being shown today the only ones we don't own are The Pirate, Easter Parade, and The Clock.
I have my DVR on massive overdrive. Today is Barbara Stanwyck Day!!
That b*tch rules!!
Films of Barbara Stanwyck Schedule
I caught some of the Walter Pidgeon films on Sunday but I could not for the life of me understand why they chose to run FUNNY GIRL. Sure he's in it but it's not a film I think about when it comes to Walter Pidgeon. It strictly belongs in a Streisand retrospective. What are they going to do next year? Include it in their Anne Francis retrospective? All 3 minutes of her? LMAO!!
Oh Carlos, what kind of homo are you? ANY chance to see FUNNY GIRL, no matter how tenuous the connection, should be embraced!
I mean the movie, btw; I would not embrace a chance to see the stage show should it star someone who is just so gleefully wrong for the role.
But I digress. Back to the Barbara with an A today.
D2, you wouldn't be the first person to ask me that...lmao. But yes, I do see your point.
Even in the over-wrought melodramas, Stanwyck is mesmerizing. When the material is good, she's...incandescent.
