Me, me, me...the series is my guilty pleasure. I just binge watched the 2nd season episodes that have been released to date. The writing is very cheeky, and the vast majority of the cast really delivers the goods. I like that the show doesn't take itself so seriously although the audience will draw a number of parallels between The Seven and a certain administration. Gotta admit though that I don't want to see "the gills" ever again.
It took me 3 episodes into the 1st season to recognize the Antony Starr who plays Homelander. I was a huge fan of Banshee.

I just started watching this the other night (discovered that I'm still signed in on my Apple TV to the office account from my old job), and have been sucked in. I'm trying not to binge new series these days (I find I lose focus after a couple episodes in a row), so am only a few episodes into the first season, but I'm hooked.

I never need to see "the gills" again either. Boy did that freak me out. Fun show. Highly addictive.

Antony Starr's Homelander is an amazing villain. The level of dread that he creates whenever he's on screen is off the charts.

I have lost interest. Mostly because I have discovered the much superior Umbrella Academy.
