IN MEMORIUM
Oh my, we certainly have lost some great talent this last year.
I love this segment of the Emmys and Oscars. I am such a sentimental person. I'm bleeding tears right now.

I think John Ritter died last year.
Was it just me, or did we lose an extraordinary number of composers this year?
I always find that segment to be so moving.

Posted: 9/19/04 at 10:38pmWow, I can't believe its been so long since John Ritter died. But I do remember now that he was in it last year. Mr. Rogers too. Wow, that part is so moving, nd slightly depressing. All amazing talents who will be extraordinarily missed!

Yes, I agree. It is her masterpiece. But it's not my favorite movie.
I'm just delighted that she won.
(are you the person who posted about somebody from here being at the Emmys? I'm new, so am curious. Is she an actress?)

Posted: 9/19/04 at 10:56pmI was on set of The Manchurian Candidate with Meryl for seven days. She is the sweetest most down to earth woman. I adore her and learned so much from talking to her and watching her act that week.

Posted: 9/19/04 at 11:00pmI might even give up my autographs of Cheno and LuPone to have a "night hat" with Meryl.
#99re: THE EMMY AWARDS
Posted: 9/19/04 at 11:01pmI've only seen it once. It's not something I think I could ever see again. But the film is embedded in my mind and I could never forget that scene. Ever.
