I saw this film the other night and I was quite impressed with it. There's quite a bit of press about the stars, but I wanted to mention Tony nominee Tammy Blanchard. She was totally captivating in her role.
Does Tammy get to lovingly sing "Little Lamb" to Matt Damon??
Thank God, no!
I actually didn't care for her in GYPSY but I remember I loved her as the young Judy in Me And My Shadows: Life With Judy Garland.
Me too, GG. My feelings exactly.
Anyone else noteworthy in the film?
Chock-a-block w/ great actors. I remember why I love John Turturro. I have never seen him do anything I didn't think was absolutely great.
How's the cast rec - I mean soundtrack?
It just got a very good review in The New Yorker, where David Denby called it "one of the most impressive movies ever made about espionage." I'm looking forward to it, and Joe Pesci's return to acting.
I know their scenes are probably insanely short, but how are mah boyz John Hill and Michael Arden?!
