I'm having a hard timekeeping up with these releases. I was excited to get the 3-disc DVD set that was released a few years ago with the green cover and the shadow of the Wicked Witch of the West. How many releases have there been since? We know there WILL be another release shortly after this.

The advance artwork for the September blu-ray release seems to be based on the Andrew Lloyd Webber stage production artwork.

You KNOW they are going to amp up the 3-D on the line; "You want to play ball Scarecrow?".

The four leads look so awkward on that DVD cover, but I'm excited to see it on the big screen again.

That cover art is pretty bad and cheap-looking. It has "bargain bin" written all over it.

The shot of the four leads was taking from above, looking down on them. So it has this weird proportion/angle problem. The Tin Man especially looks like he's leaning forward about to pass gas. And their angle doesn't match the horizon line angle of the background.

Modern 3D is not about things flying at you but more about depth and perspective. If they converted it with that purpose, the painted backdrops could look more real and recede further back.
