TV PRODUCTS THAT DO/ DON'T WORK

Bruno's Split Ender; Huggable Hangers; the Igia Micro Shaver (forgot the exact name); the Slimming Pants; you've seen all that crap on TV? Anyone actually try those "As Seen on TV" products and they don't work? Or do work??

I bought the Split Ender thing...luckily I was able to return it. The thing kept catching in my hair (no, no chunks of hair came out) and didn't remove split ends. In fact, it kind of trimmed the ends of the hair so the edges looked worse and all uneven. Stupid Bruno.

Huggable hangers are GREAT.
Brought them to college.
Love them.
Nothing ever falls off, and they make clothes take up less space in the closet than normal hangers.

I was watching late night/early morning tv with my brother a couple days ago and we saw an informercial for a product called like "The Bullet Blender" or something.
It was the most convincing infomercial I've seen in a long time.
If the blender hadn't been $100, I would've purchased it myself.
And I don't even use blenders.
This thing made me want to steal cheese from the dining hall and make nachos.

I bought a Platinum Cross Bow and it's amazing. In fact, everything I've bought off TV has worked well for me.

I just re-read your original post - I don't have a Bruno split-ender - I have the Revo - maybe that's the problem...

Anybody has the "pump n seal"????????????????
when I was a kid, the "pump n seal" commercial was all nights on tv for 7 hours... I become addicted to that huge bad commercial, awfully dubbed to spanish!
I've never found nobody who has the item...

The Revo Styler looks like something that might work. But the split ender was a waste of 40 bucks in CVS.

Yes, I have both the Revo Styler and the Split Ender. They are both fabulous in my experience.

I bought that little personal hair removal thing from Amazon, actually, for my lower lip and my chin, because when I shave with a razor in those areas I tend to break out, and it's great. There's no irritation at all and it's totally painless. I also use it for my sideburns and, also, to keep my happy trail trimmed and looking sexy! I highly recomend it!

Ooo... I also have the Turbo Cooker! You know the frying pan that bakes stuff too. And my God, you poach chicken in teriyaki sauce or BBQ sauce or whatever you like and it tastes SOOOOO good!!! Plus, the cupcakes with the diet cola instead of oil taste really cool! Updated On: 7/24/04 at 11:03 PM
