I remember The Charmings. The wife was like a snow white character, right? I remember that they were facinated by the mic-ro-WAVE!

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

Yep - and Paul Winfield was the mirror in the stepmother's room. I remember laughing hysterically when they had a juggler in the living room and Lillian (the stepmother) made the balls he was juggling fly up to the ceiling and the mirror said "Lillian, give the nice man his balls back!" Ok, so maybe it wasn't high art -- I was like 8.

OH, yes!!! Homefront! That was a terrific show. Kyle Chandler was Jeff, the baseball player. His family kept buying bread because his card was supposed to be in it but they could never get it. The rich family, meanwhile, got his card everytime and threw them away...

I can't think of any current shows, but when I was in elementary school there was a show on Nickelodeon called "The Tomorrow People," and my friends and I loved it, but there were only a few episodes before it was taken off the air.

::Sigh:: I miss old Nickelodeon shows. Like Pete and Pete, Global Guts, Double Dare, What Would You Do, Wild and Crazy Kids, Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, The Secret World of Alex Mack. All That when it was actually good. Roundhouse, You Can't Do That on Television...

Katt -- you confused me there -- "old" shows? Those shows range from the last couple of years to some 20 years ago (unless they were still making new You Can't Do That On Television and Double Dare episodes recently...)

Ahh Double Dare -- I always used to get so mad at it because I thought the questions were too easy - I would never have gotten the chance to do a physical challenge if I was on the show.

Space Cases. I remember being crushed when I found out it was cancelled.

I was gonna say Reunion too, but it somehow was revealed who the murderer was, my sister found out and told me anyway, don't know what else was revealed or how it happened, but PM me if you wanna know the murderer.

"Buffy was my favorite show...ever. But it made me so mad sometimes."

Oh, amen! I too was a Buffy/Angel fanatic, and season 2 when he went bad, best season ever...I mean sure it drove me crazy but I was glued to my set every second and the season 2 finale...may be the best episode of a TV show I ever saw, I say best not favorite b/c god I was crying for hours after, was supposed to study for a ss test and I was getting tears all over my textbook...what a great episode(though I was mad at Xander for a while...)

Anyway, yeah was devestated when Angel got his own show and Buffy was never the same after season 3. I detested Riley, so much so that I actually kinda liked Buffy/Spike in season 5, but once Riley was gone for good and such, they totally ruined them in season 6 and I still missed Angel. But yeah, I don't think I've ever been so emotionally invested in a show. Cried after Innocence, bawled after Becoming Part 2, cried when Angel came to Buffy's rescue in the 4th ep. of season 4 said Buffy shrank to his knees and she cried, cried when it started snowing on Christmas, cried when he broke up w/ her and during the prom, cried when he walked away, bawled during IWRY, cried when I watched his show for her guest appearance only to see them fight, bawled during "The Body," teared up during "The Gift," cried the beginning of "Grave," when Giles came back, cried pretty hard during the end w/ what Xander was saying, and most of the 7th season made me cry b/c it was so bad. I couldn't believe they knocked out Xander's eye. And Buffy telling Giles you have nothing more to teach me?? WTF?? So not anything you would hear/see from Buffy/Giles. Kennedy was really annoying too, but not as annoying as Riley.

The musical episode was ingenious though--god Joss Whedon is just a genius. And yeah, I couldn't watch Angel after they killed off Riley. And the priest dude from Firefly or whatever was really annoying too. And then they killed Jonathan! That season I think epitomizes what you said, I loved the show so much, and got soo pissed after every episode of the 7th season, but I couldn't not watch. Ulgh.

*very tempted to watch her Buffy second season DVD*

His name was Caleb and he was played by Nathan Fillion, heh.

I mean old shows as in...they don't play them anymore on Nick. Nick now plays crappy shows like Spongebob and Zoey 101 and whatever junk is on now. And I mean the OLD Double Dare not like Double Dare 2000. And All That is still playing but it sucks now. By the way...did anyone see the All That Aniversary Special?

And yes I cried after Becoming. And I cry every time at I Will Remember You. I'm not a big crier, I'm just WAY too emotionally invested in that show.

wickedrentq, I have the Space Cases theme song on my i-Pod. I frickin' LOVED that show. I thought Catarina's rainbow hair was the coolest thing ever.

My So-Called Life was fantastic...Jordan Catalano will always be the ultimate hot guy for me.

"I'm just WAY too emotionally invested in that show"

I couldn't agree more.

Justagirl, I loved it, though I really hated that we lost Cat in the second season, never liked Suzee as much. Another great, underrated(IMO) short-lived show.

Yeah, Suzee was boring. Too bookish.

Are You Afraid of the Dark is excellent...my best friend got me illegal DVDs of all the episodes for my birthday last year. I forgot how much I loved it!

OMG, Are You Afraid of The Dark used to scare me so bad when I was younger! I remember Space Cases, although I don't remember much about it, except that it was about this group of people stuck on a ship called the Chrysta (or something like that) that was roaming the galaxy. The only character that really sticks out was the android Thelma (I think that was her name).

Does anyone remember a gameshow on Nick called Legends of The Hidden Temple? I used to LOVE that show!

James, I watch Legends all the time on GAS (Nickelodeon's Games and Sports)! The glories of digital cable...

For Halloween last year, some of my friends dressed up as contestants from the show...they had four full teams, complete with the khakis, shirts, gold helmets, and watershoes. It was genius!

Other than some already mentioned,

There was this great show called Profit back in the 1990's, with Adrian Pasdar.

Also, The Pretender was pretty fun to watch.

Glad that someone remembered it! *goes off to search it* I can only seem to remember one episode clearly and never what it was called, so thanks alot. Everyone I asked always got it confused with the one about the Dinosaur family. With the little "I'm the baby gotta love me" baby dino. As you can see tv show titles are not my specialty.

Ev'ry so often we long to steal to the land of what might have been but that dos'nt soften the ache we feel when reality sets back in.

I know too much about TV shows and get too invested in them.

And I used to watch Dinosaurs also. "Not the mama!"
